Au Bon Point sur Cluny

Excellent meal; my ravioli with St. Marcellin cheese, parsley cream, and salad were delicious, as was the beef tartare (see photos). Shaded terrace, friendly welcome—by far our best meal in Cluny. It just goes to show that you often only need to walk three minutes outside the tourist center to find a quality restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic, nothing to complain about. The restrooms were spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly and served us with kindness. I highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back. 👍

Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food, but the menu looked incredibly tempting! Let me tell you about our experience... We were a group of eight bikers, arriving around 4 pm in the middle of a heatwave. The restaurant owners were just about to leave, having finished their lunch service. And yet, the doors were opened wide with a kindness that's almost impossible to find these days, even though we would have perfectly understood that we were arriving far too late... We were greeted with a big smile, and for just a soft drink each, the bill came to less than €20... Three carafes of chilled water were served in addition to our order, they brought us a refreshing water canister, and they refilled our water bottles! Hats off to you both for this wonderful display of humanity! One thing is for sure: we'll be back! ❤️

Family Restaurant During our visit to Cluny during our Burgundy vacation, we stopped at Au Bon Point... which could just as easily be called "Le Bon Coin" (The Good Corner). First impression: if locals come here for lunch in large numbers, that's already a very good sign, and we were right. Pleasant service, affordable menu (set menu at €16.50), and generous, high-quality dishes. The Oeufs en Meurette as a starter was very well prepared (if you plan to order anything else afterward, definitely order the small starter). For the main course: The prawn and chorizo ​​risotto was excellent (if I had to find a tiny fault... it was a bit greasy, but I suppose the chorizo ​​plays a part in that). In any case, I highly recommend it. The butcher's cut was also very good (served with fries, a small onion sauce, and a small pot of mustard) – simple and satisfying. Finally, for dessert, the "small" crème brûlée was absolutely fantastic (you'll have gathered that it wasn't small either). All this to say that we had a great time and that "BON POINT" is a very good restaurant. Thank you to them!
