As mentioned by other reviews, the food comes out fairly slow during busier times of the day. So if you are very hungry and want food under 30 minutes during peak hours. I wouldn’t recommend. I came in with this knowledge so it wasn’t upsetting and the service from the waiter was very nice, often checking in to make sure everything was okay. Food was good and prepared well.

A warm and friendly welcome.
Excellent Alsatian specialties from appetizer to dessert. Great value for money. Rustic Alsatian setting, just steps from the cathedral.

A pleasant, discreet, and attentive waiter.
We will cherish fond memories of Strasbourg, thanks in part to "Aux Bons Vivants."

A very good restaurant in a beautiful location. The interior is lovely and very traditional; it's typical and charming. The welcome and service are very pleasant; the waiter is attentive and extremely friendly. The food is good, well-prepared, and quite generous—Alsatian style, it's fantastic! The only slight drawback is the menu selection, which I felt lacked variety, but that's a minor point. Thank you to the restaurant team for a wonderful experience.

Good value for money, the waiter is friendly! There isn't a huge selection on the menu, mostly pork dishes! Since my husband doesn't eat pork, that's a shame, and I don't think the seating is very comfortable; the furniture is old and should be replaced to make it more comfortable. We were also cold while eating! The dishes are very well presented, homemade, and very good; we'll definitely go back! 😉👍
