07/03/2026: We arrived at opening time at 2:30 PM on March 7th and one of the employees ignored us. Despite a customer reminding him that we were waiting, he simply raised his hand and said, "No problem." Indeed, no problem, we won't be back. Thanks to his colleague who actually served us.

26/02/2026: Always a pleasure to have a glass of wine or Wishky beer.... Beer deposits are back, a wide selection to buy from, with knowledgeable staff who will give you good advice.

12/07/2025: A delicious Black Forest cake. Absolutely delicious! I went twice just to buy some. It was so good. Not too sweet, with tart cherries, fresh cream, good dark chocolate, and a super tasty, crunchy biscuit base. It was only afterward that I learned the owner was closing. He told me, "It's old age." I wish him a happy retirement.

05/07/2025: Disappointing experience – sadly not like it used to be I've known this restaurant for several years and always enjoyed eating German food here. It's ideally located near the Comédie-Française. Unfortunately, my visit today, my second in just a few months, was once again a huge disappointment. The food was so bad that I couldn't finish my plate. The meat was completely overcooked, and the lentils were hard and inedible. I paid 40 euros and left without finishing my meal. It's truly a shame to see how much the quality has declined.

23/11/2025: A nice, very traditional restaurant. The service is particularly slow, but the staff is friendly and pleasant. The portions are a bit small for most of my group.

09/11/2025: There were six of us. Naturally, everyone ordered something different, but that wasn't a problem at all. We received excellent and extremely friendly service from the owner himself; all our requests were promptly fulfilled, and we felt truly welcome. Regarding the food, it should be noted that the appetizers were a bit poor value for money. We're not big eaters, but the appetizers were very small. The main courses were of good quality, but again, they lacked that final touch. Dessert was standard, so it was fine. Drinks were reasonably priced, with a slight Swiss influence. The interior has been completely renovated, but it lacks a bit of atmosphere. The overall impression was that we could have received a bit more for the prices charged. Nevertheless, it's worth a visit, as we're really nitpicking.

12/03/2026: Avoid at all costs; the service and food are mediocre.

28/11/2025: The restaurant was closed on one side due to a missing server, yet several tables remained empty in the "open" section, and we were refused service because we needed a reservation. While we weren't regulars, we used to go there occasionally, but that won't happen again.

10/03/2026: I did an intensive A2 course during the school holidays, and I thought it was great. I recommend it.

07/02/2026: They kick you out of the building like you're a dirty scumbag when you're taking an exam and you only have one minute left on the timer.

01/04/2026: Excellent experience, expert knowledge of wines and spirits, and a friendly team. I highly recommend it!

07/03/2026: I received an email invitation for a wine tasting 🍷 on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and I confirmed our invitation by phone. I got the answering machine, so I left a message: "I'm reserving this tasting for 3 people." We arrived around 6 pm, and the person who was "organizing" this event told us: "But it's canceled! Didn't you receive an email?" "No! I called you!" "Oh dear, our voicemail is full!" She was barely polite, seemed very busy, even overwhelmed! She left us hanging! She came back a little while later with a brief "Excuse us" at least! The woman was really not very friendly, and certainly not customer-oriented!

15/04/2026: The savory dishes were very good! It's a shame that some of the desserts are from Picard, though.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner, after a two-hour wait, only an aperitif was served. Water was requested several times, and the service was excruciatingly slow. Avoid.

27/02/2026: Budget-friendly. Very decent lunch for tradespeople, pleasant cuisine and setting.

19/12/2025: We shared a delicious festive meal and had a wonderful time this Friday, December 19th. A group of hikers from Alboussier.

22/02/2026: The shop was too expensive. And for quite some time now, it hadn't been the same. A few years ago, I bought oysters there twice... When I opened them, they were orange inside and had an unbearable smell that I will NEVER forget. It closed down. Good riddance! Goodbye!

18/02/2026: We love it every time, the seafood is ultra-fresh and prepared with love, our HQ♥️

10/04/2026: The chef/owner refused to serve my friends and me in an extremely aggressive manner without explanation. I don't recommend this place. I'd been traveling here for a long time to experience German cuisine.
