Superb place and excellent time with the family!

Great restaurant in a pleasant setting, especially if you eat outside. Generous and delicious food at a reasonable price considering the quality of the ingredients.

Simple cuisine but good ingredients. I had sole and found it a little overcooked and dry, which was a shame, but still good.

An absolutely magnificent experience! The starter, a fresh and refined salad, was a true delight of lightness. Its different textures and fresh notes brought a great deal of finesse and perfectly whetted the appetite, while deliciously preparing the palate for what was to come. The hake was simply exceptional: remarkably tender, it literally melted in the mouth, enhanced by an incredibly flavorful, delicate, and perfectly balanced sauce. And what can I say about the crème brûlée… Magnificent! A smooth and silky texture, a delicately caramelized crust, and above all, a depth of flavor that gave it true elegance. A decadent, generous, and perfectly executed dessert. A huge congratulations to the entire team for this wonderful culinary experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will gladly return!

A timeless interlude. A suspended moment on the banks of the Gave de Pau, just a stone's throw from the city. A very warm welcome and attentive, kind staff. Wood-fired cuisine. A good selection of fish and meats to grill. I'll definitely be back to try everything. Thank you to the whole team.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful family meal, spanning three generations! There were five of us, from three different generations, and we all agreed: we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We started with oysters and sardines, which were excellent and very fresh. For our main courses, we tried the duck breast, grilled salmon, parsley-crusted scallops, and leg of lamb; everything was perfectly prepared, flavorful, made with high-quality ingredients and truly homemade. For dessert, we had strawberry tiramisu, crème brûlée, a gourmet coffee, and nougat glacé. Again, everyone found something they loved! We particularly appreciated the setting; we ate on the terrace, by the water, in a very pleasant environment. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The welcome and service also deserve special mention. Immediate welcome, quick seating, smooth service, smiling, attentive, and helpful staff. Everything was truly delightful. The price-quality ratio seems entirely justified given the quality of the food, the cuisine, and the setting. A wonderful place to share a delicious meal with family. We will definitely be back!

Regarding the food, we appreciated the quality of the fish: the sole was well-cooked, as were the sardines, and the salad was very good. However, the side dishes could have been more thoughtful and refined: a baked potato with a small skewer of vegetables seemed rather meager to accompany dishes of this quality. Unfortunately, the real weak point of our experience was the service, which fell short of our expectations. The initial welcome was adequate, but without any particular attention to detail. Then, several minor oversights piled up: no carafe of water was brought to us automatically (we had to ask for it), tables that arrived after us were served before us, a request for lemon to accompany the fish was ignored and we ended up having to get it ourselves, and no finger bowls were offered despite the dishes clearly warranting them. Taken individually, each of these points might seem like a minor detail. But taken together, they give the impression of a lack of follow-through, attention, and consideration for the customers. It's a shame, because the food has real merit and the setting is pleasant, but service is an integral part of the restaurant experience. In my opinion, customer attention is just as important as the quality of the food.
