We really enjoyed our evening and meal. We are disappointed to have learned of the closure of this restaurant. Too bad.

J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de découvrir la formule de carpaccio de bœuf à volonté du Restaurant du Boucher, anciennement connu sous le nom de Bouchon Brionnais.
Nous avons été accueillis tièdement par le personnel, mais celui-ci s’est réchauffé au fur et à mesure du service.
La salle du restaurant est simple et sans décoration ostentatoire.
Le carpaccio à volonté est sans doute la star du menu. Les tranches de viande sont plutôt épaisses par rapport à la plupart des carpaccios que j’ai mangé mais présentées avec soin, démontrant une attention particulière aux détails. La viande est fraîche, les assaisonnements, bien équilibrés, mettent en valeur la saveur naturelle du bœuf sans la dominer. Seul bémol, la quantité de roquette qui au fur et à mesure des assiettes devient un élément en trop.
Le service est rapide et efficace. Le serveur est attentif et veille à ce que les assiettes soient régulièrement remplies sans que nous ayons besoin de le demander.
En ce qui concerne le rapport qualité-prix, 21.00€/ pers., la formule de carpaccio à volonté est tout à fait raisonnable. La qualité des ingrédients et la générosité des portions justifient pleinement le prix demandé.
La formule de carpaccio à volonté, du Restaurant du Boucher est une expérience à ne pas manquer pour les amoureux de bonne viande.
Entre la qualité de la viande et le service efficace tout est réuni pour passer un excellent moment.
J’ai hâte d’y retourner pour essayer la formule Onglet de bœuf à volonté (24.50€/ pers.).

I recently had the opportunity to discover the all-you-can-eat beef carpaccio formula at Restaurant du Boucher, formerly known as Bouchon Brionnais.
We were greeted lukewarmly by the staff, but they warmed up as the service progressed.
The restaurant room is simple and without ostentatious decoration.
The unlimited carpaccio is undoubtedly the star of the menu. The slices of meat are rather thick compared to most carpaccios I have eaten but presented with care, demonstrating careful attention to detail. The meat is fresh, the seasonings, well balanced, highlight the natural flavor of the beef without overpowering it. The only downside is the quantity of arugula which becomes an excess over time.
The service is fast and efficient. The waiter is attentive and ensures that the plates are regularly refilled without us having to ask.
Regarding the quality-price ratio, €21.00/person, the all-you-can-eat carpaccio formula is completely reasonable. The quality of the ingredients and the generosity of the portions fully justify the asking price.
The unlimited carpaccio formula at the Restaurant du Boucher is an experience not to be missed for lovers of good meat.
Between the quality of the meat and the efficient service, everything comes together to have an excellent time.
I can't wait to go back to try the unlimited beef tab formula (€24.50/pers.).

The big downside is the long wait between each plate of carpaccio (obvious lack of staff or strategy to avoid overeating?)
Otherwise the carpaccio was good, the waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

Overall, it was a great evening spent in this restaurant, the meat very good, the tartare excellent (the only downside for the soft chocolate which, in my opinion, is not worth its price but is still good). I was still disappointed by the service throughout, we really waited a long time before being served, whether for the main course or the dessert. Even to pay at the end it took a long time (even though it is often at this moment that the servers jump). The waiter here is all alone, and he doesn't seem to worry about how his service is going since he's not in a hurry, takes his time, sometimes he's even on his phone while people are waiting for 20 minutes...
The 3 stars are due to the cuisine which is still very good to counter the service which deserves 2 stars.

Dinner with unlimited tab, meat cooked properly and tasty, very generous plate with fries and salad. Very good value for money! Small room but not crowded. During our visit there was one person missing in the kitchen which slowed down the service, but that did not bother us. To visit
