We received a very warm welcome. We came in the evening for ice cream, and the waiter was very friendly and found us a table outside despite the crowd. The service was impeccable, and we will gladly return.

One star is missing because we ordered desserts which arrived after a delay, and on top of that, the crepe was cold; I don't know if that's normal. Otherwise, the service and welcome were excellent. We come often, and the food is divinely good. This slight delay in dessert won't stop us from coming back.

They respected our requests because we're picky about food. The welcome and service were very pleasant.

Good atmosphere, a bit noisy with the road next door at terrace level but it was delicious and the service was perfect.

Honestly, we love this chain. The food is always excellent and the service is always great. This particular location has truly stunning premises... the restaurant's architecture is fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that the restrooms are upstairs, and I don't know if there's an elevator for people with reduced mobility.

A very pleasant spot on the terrace, friendly service, and finishing with a game of foosball inside this beautifully decorated establishment.

Chez Francis

25/08/2026: Excellent food, very pleasant service.
20/08/2026: This restaurant is a Brive-la-Gaillarde institution, and its reputation is well-deserved. The setting is charming, with a classic bistro decor, and the walls are covered in drawings and autographs from celebrities who have frequented the restaurant. The service, provided by the owner, is very friendly. She explains the menu in detail and offers excellent advice on dishes and wines. And then the feast begins... From starters and main courses to cheeses and desserts, everything is delicious, flavorful, and served at the perfect temperature. The flavor combinations are delightfully bold, and the cooking is expertly executed. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
