For several years now, we've occasionally gone to the office at École Valentin for a meal or a drink. The terrace is lovely and spacious, facing the sunset. The service is excellent, with friendly waiters and waitresses who offer good advice on food and drinks. The only downside was that the last time we went, we were seated inside in the air conditioning, which wasn't very pleasant while eating.

The dish was very good. Unfortunately, I paid €7.90 for a "gourmet coffee" which was really, really not worth the price... It was a lemon verrine with M&M's pieces and caramel (Sacred Mix), a small chocolate cake that must have come straight from the fridge... at least it was fresh 🤦 And a scoop of vanilla ice cream that was a normal yellow color but had white on top... I have absolutely no idea what it was... At the till, the waitress said she would pass on the information and apologized, but a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. Because it hurts to pay that price for a dessert that was really, really not good...

I especially want to highlight the owner, who is welcoming, professional, and very attentive to his customers. The staff are also top-notch: smiling, helpful, and dedicated. A restaurant that inspires confidence, especially with its well-maintained premises and fire safety certification. 😉🧯 Kudos to the owner and his entire team for their professionalism and hospitality. 02/08/2026: Actually, I don't have much to say about it. I only went once; the service was friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, the beer was good, and the prices were average for the area. But from what I've heard, it's a place that's been around for decades, so maybe that's no coincidence.
