We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the nearby lake. What a lovely surprise! The staff were very welcoming (even my dog ​​got a bowl of fresh water), the meal was excellent and very good value for money, there was a small shaded outdoor terrace, and the restrooms were very clean. Well done and thank you!

A warm welcome, delicious and generous portions, and a pleasant atmosphere! The restaurant is very close to Lake Lastioulles, where you can swim. Reasonable prices; there were five of us (two adults, two teenagers, and one child). We highly recommend this place!

Take your time! We spent 2.5 hours at our table in a restaurant that was only half full. We would have loved to have some cheese and coffee, but given the length of our meal… The meal itself was very good, though not exceptional (the foie gras was excellent 👍). The price is high, but it's justified, no complaints there. However, the presentation was a bit too elaborate. More simplicity would bring out a purer flavor. Some dishes got lost in too many different tastes, and this would greatly improve the speed of service. Otherwise, it was very pleasant. Other reviews mention that the staff isn't friendly, but that's not true. It's up to us, the customers, to help them relax and smile :) Rating: 3/5 for management. The meal was going well until you overheard the owner speaking very rudely to his staff, and that's when you understand the lack of smiles: a petty boss who thinks he can do anything, with a few words that make you want to leave on principle: "No one is indispensable," "I'm the boss here," while the guy is sluggish with the preparation speed and the customers only stay because the waitstaff knows how to keep them occupied. The only one who isn't indispensable is you; we come 80% for the smiles, only 20% for the food. A little lesson in human and managerial skills wouldn't hurt you. When you send your waitress away in tears, and it's clearly not the first time, there's a serious problem with the business. Mistakes happen. Relax, understand that without others, you are nothing. The smiles will return, and so will the customers :)
