Mixed in our experience.
My dish was particularly good: veggie crumble with buttery mash. The non-alcoholic cocktail at €8 was expensive for what it was.
My husband, on the other hand, did not appreciate his dish: soft and fatty fries and a very thin piece of meat for the price.
It's true that it was a little expensive for the portions, but the atmosphere is good and the servers are in a good mood ☺️.
Be careful though of the dust which seems to be very present in the restaurant because of the many poorly dusted decorations...

Food okay. It lacks a bit of sophistication and sometimes seems careless. 3 stars.
Service friendly and attentive. 4 stars.
Ambience/decor inside and in the garden: sensational. 5+ stars.

Atypical establishment, hearty traditional dishes (special mention to the andouillette se Jengeau), welcoming staff. Remember to book in advance ;).

We were disappointed by two things: the endless wait but that I can bear. On the other hand, the fact that the meat is not really good is not normal. We told the waiter who apologized. Damage

Pleasantly surprised. At first glance, the bistro doesn't look like much, but the staff is friendly and the burgers are huge and cooked to perfection. I think the fries are cooked in goose or beef fat. The restaurant was full. I recommend

A very pleasant lunch both in terms of the meal and the atmosphere. A very unusual place, different atmospheres depending on the rooms. Very good value for money. I recommend.

Let's start with the first impression: the frame. Atypical and original. The decor smells of heather and the cards are a mix of old books, comics and even children's books. The service is friendly and efficient, listening to the customer. The kitchen is simple but effective. Modest but sufficient doses, without fuss. The prices are completely appropriate and really reasonable. Brief! Modest budget but want to go out to a real restaurant? Don’t hesitate!

We stopped for lunch while spending the day in Blois. I ordered the vegetarian dish of the day with was onion quiche. We ordered tarte tatin for dessert. It was a surprise to be served a banana based tart. The wine we ordered was a great compliment to our meal. Our server was attentive too. I’d return.
