Unexpectedly arrived at the village in Gy by bike around 1:30 PM on a Monday. Received very hospitably here. Moreover, the food was very tasty. Highly recommended for those who love good food and friendly staff. Everything very neat.
Restaurant au top tout comme les plats les salades en entrée son limite trop garnis pour prendre un plat ,la viande était tres tendre merci à jeremy et toute son équipe nous nous sommes régalés
During our pilgrimage we stayed in the beautiful town of Gy. We ate at Au Coin du Feu not far from our accommodation. Before the restaurant opened, we were able to drink an excellent rose wine for refreshment in the attached bistro bar. In the restaurant we had a salad with prawns or a warm mushroom pie in puff pastry as a starter. As a main course we chose an entrecôte of Charolais beef or a leg of lamb. The side dish included a ratatouille vegetable. All dishes were of excellent quality and also completely filling after a long day of pilgrimage. The wine selection is small but very good. Despite the red meat, we chose a good Chablis for our meal. The price-performance ratio at Au Coin du Feu is reasonable. I was also impressed by the service: fast, competent and very friendly, despite our limited knowledge of French. We can recommend the Au Coin du Feu without reservation.
Very good restaurant and superb good pizza... in Gy in this village where ALL the shops disappear, well done to the owners and their team... always very well received, a beautiful atmosphere, and a treat......
