Au Comptoir sur Wimereux

Excellent welcome, reasonable prices, and we ate very well.

What can I say except that the welcome was incredibly warm, the kind only people from the north know how to give. The cuisine features fresh, local produce. The price is more than reasonable considering the quality of the dishes. I highly recommend going without hesitation and on an empty stomach, as the portions are generous. The photo perfectly captures the flavor of the meal 😉

We were very happy with our stay in Wimereux and we recommend eating at Le Comptoir. It's very friendly and we had a delicious meal.

Good food, but nothing exceptional.

We were a small group of seven, and we all unanimously enjoyed the meal. Mussels with Maroilles cheese for some, mussels marinière for others... not a single empty shell! The mussels were succulent, and the Maroilles sauce was a real treat. Our teenagers also loved their burgers. Everything was perfect, thank you. Congratulations to the chef!

We arrived at this restaurant to a very cold welcome. There were five of us, and we were seated at a table for four with a chair at the end, even though it wasn't very busy. We didn't really understand why. We'd barely sat down when they gave us the menus, and a minute later they took our drinks, even though we hadn't chosen them yet. They even took our main courses at the same time, as if the staff were in a huge rush. Luckily, we ate very well; the food was indeed homemade and tasty. For dessert, we had two Mikado crepes. They were very good, but the presentation was awful: the chocolate was like a slop, presented haphazardly, and the young waiter was blowing bubbles with his chewing gum, acting like everything was fine, and shamelessly serving us crepes like pigs. Anyway (I won't be back soon).

Friendly staff. Dogs were allowed. The food was good (crepes) and so was the dessert. According to Google, it's closed on Mondays, but it was open.

A very well-located restaurant in Wimereux, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Customers can bring their dogs; they are welcome. Now, let's talk about the food: the fries and poultry were cooked to a ridiculously high standard, and the sauce was made to order. Unfortunately, it came in a small bowl, making it difficult to get enough. For all these delicious meals, you have to ask the waiters, who swear they'll do it upon request. Many of you should frequent this restaurant, as it already has a good clientele. A large portion of tasty fries awaits you! 😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ A big thank you to AU COMPTOIR!

The food was okay – a bit bland – the service was so-so, the tone could have been friendlier. But overall, I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

We were warmly welcomed with our dog, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The buckwheat crepes were delicious. The ice cream was amazing! 😉 Just the French toast wasn't to our taste.
