Au Comté d'Ornon sur Gradignan

We were passing through over the weekend. Restaurant and bar were closed. Many of the restaurants in the area were also closed. Bordeaux apparently only lives during the week.

We had a wonderbox. When we arrived, it was a great surprise since we had been upgraded to a comfort room with 1 hour of spa included per day. The SPA is functional, well maintained, well decorated, and pleasant with little touches: glass of flavored water.... Attentive and very pleasant staff. Nice terrace for the summer. The breakfasts are classic, nothing more. This is the only downside, but it's still quite correct. To sum up, excellent experience...

Wanted to give a shout out to this place that welcomed us extremely well. The girl at the reception was extremely resourceful and with a huge smile that somehow made it all look OK. The rooms where small but extremely tidy and well equipped and refurbished: great airco, great showers, nespresso machine and cool bed linen. We also used the jacuzzi and sauna that offered a relaxing break on our journey (this was a just a stop over on our journey from Spain back to Switzerland) the restaurant was also surprisingly good: nice inventive cocktails and authentic food. Well done to you all !!

A failed experiment. The spa was not working, the service during dinner was really limited with a jaded waiter and it was impossible to have a cocktail because "the cocktail machine was out of order"!!! What is this restaurant where even basic cocktails are made by a machine!? 3 stars however for the nevertheless correct meal, the helpful night staff and the welcome at breakfast.

Comfortable and well-kept room, hearty breakfast for all tastes, caring, pleasant and efficient team, the little spa in the morning before departure 🔝and easy to access for a long journey requiring a good break 👍🏼

Very nice home. Clean, spacious and quiet rooms. The spa is pleasant and the layout is well designed for peace and quiet and privacy. Hygiene standards are well respected. Very good restaurant and service and good value for money.

You will need to book in advance to use the weelness services, breakfast to be avoided.

The price of breakfast at €12.00 seems to me to be expensive considering what is offered.
