Very good place to eat regional dishes (but not only... Duck parmentier). Good quality ratio. Dirty and covered terrace.

At the coq d'or we feast, Picardy ficelle, rabbit terrine, scallop skewer and prawns with sweet garlic, lamb shank simmered with garlic and so on, good gastronomy, good affordable wine list , lunch menu at 15.50 euros, children's menu 11.00 euros

Great not to be missed, only ik the parking, the boss behind the counter excellent, the waitresses very good, presentation of the dishes very good and fresh, the prices reasonable, I would return there during a stay in Calais without hesitation

We recommend the bar with lemon sauce. Excellent. Carbonnade too. Hearty desserts. Rum baba generously soaked. We will come back

Everything you could ask for for a quick midweek lunch. (Mise en Bouche, Plat du Jour au Choix and a Café Gourmand) Great value, good choice of mains ( I had the lamb chops, cooked to perfection), followed by a coffee and small desserts. Will stop again next time I’m in town.

Halte à Calais. Cadre et accueil chaleureux. Au niveau du repas, les plats de poisson étaient bons, bonne cuisson , et accompagnements divers. Petit bémol pour les desserts , bien que les tartes soient faites maison, la pâte à tarte est industrielle , cela se voit et se sent. Pour la tarte poire /choco, la poire manquait de cuisson et le faite que la tarte soit trop froide, le chocolat était dur.

22/09/2024: Very warm welcome. Very good service We were accepted at 1:30 p.m. We ate very well without being rushed. Very good grilled meat, very fresh couscous vegetables, and very good semolina. Very good mint tea. Everything was very good. I recommend with my eyes closed
22/09/2024: The food was excellent, the couscous is delicious! On the other hand, the service needs to be reviewed. Two waitresses completely off base. I ask for information about a drink, she replies “I don’t know what it is, I’ve never been asked that question” without even going to inquire. No place settings at the table we had to ask for them. It’s a shame because the catering is really very good!

19/09/2024: Pleasant for a drink and a meal. Basic restorations the menu is not huge but it is enough.
11/09/2024: Good restaurant overall but the price is a little excessive because they play on the location A bit bad not being able to book for less than 12 people because when we arrived there (there were 10 of us) we had the impression of disturbing and changing their table arrangement
