The Kidneys not being mentioned, they nevertheless deserved a mention of good quality and good cooking, the content of which is also requested by the very diligent service.
A downside, to enhance comfort, it is inconceivable that in such a welcoming setting we would not have hooks for clothes. Only two or three miserable hooks are available for the large entrance room, putting coats on your knees is very uncomfortable in this very pleasant restaurant!

We went there on a Saturday evening, very warm welcome, the tarte flambées is good and plentiful.
The grumberkiechle very good, the cordon bleu very well served.
The chocolate fondant is very good as well as the gourmet coffee.
I really recommend this
restaurant.

Good classic tarte flambée, improvisation of a dessert which was not on the menu to satisfy me. On the other hand, catastrophic quality of service, with amateur and not at all trained staff who bring you things that you did not order or remove your pie from the table because it was not for you...
The decor hasn't really been improved with a bright light...

I knew the former owner who was not very friendly, and there pleasantly surprised by the welcome as well as the availability of the service but above all a chef at the top of what we ask, my son really rediscovered the flavor of his "small" dish precision, he is an old hand in the profession, and he really was blue-eyed about his dish. Everything was perfect from the aperitif to the main course. I REALLY RECOMMEND. Thank you for being able to give us pleasure by tasting your dishes. I've known the inn for decades. The renovation brought more flair back into the historic building, which is good for it and was necessary. I am actually a passionate tarte flambée eater in Alsace. But unfortunately the quality has not improved. All finished goods today (dough from the wholesaler) and baked in an electric oven. A pity. There are only a few people who make the dough themselves, roll it out very thinly and bake it in the old wood-burning oven, then roll it up at the table and eat it by hand. delicious and with a glass of rose.
