Small family restaurant serving traditional Alsatian cuisine. The duck was delicious but there wasn't much meat in the baeckeoffe even though the taste was good. The waitress left us stung by her brusque manner and she served us the chilled red wine.

We loved the Alsatian cocoon atmosphere of this very small traditional restaurant.
However, the service was abrupt, almost unpleasant.
The dishes were generous but priced a little high.

In this small restaurant serving typical Alsatian cuisine, the hostess (who speaks 4 languages) pampers you and recommends dishes and wines. Everything we ate was really good, from the fois gras pâté to the escargot, from the duck leg to the cordon bleau with Munster cheese, to the chocolate cake with ice cream and bourbon cream. There are very few places so it is advisable to book.

A true experience in Strasbourg is to experience the well-being of the city and its excellent communication. Its trams🚊 have large windows where the vision makes the ride a luxury.
This typical "Alsatian Gastronomy" restaurant is worth visiting. Its Winstub style where the first thing you think and feel is being in a tavern with a rustic appearance, with wooden beams on its ceiling, with its authentic decoration of the region, and its gastronomy with German-French influence in relation to its history and its geography.
I highlight in its typical gastronomy the homemade "Sauerkraut", a strong dish without a doubt to try.
The "baeckeoffe", a meat stew slowly cooked in white wine with potatoes and egg, another typical dish of the region. Both accompanied by their typical white wine🍷 "Riesling", served in high-stemmed, wide-mouth glasses with the appropriate temperature🌡, a sensation of freshness in the mouth, aromatic and balanced between acidity and sweetness. These are versatile, ideal for pairing according to the chosen dish.

Wir fühlten uns richtig wohl, man könnte schon sagen, fast heimisch. Sehr kleines aber unheimlich liebevoll geführtes Lokal. Sehr gute zubereitete Elsässisches Speisen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Weiter so! Top!!!
