Having dined at bistros for a while, I was quite disappointed. The dishes were good, but no better than what you'd get at a decent brasserie. The octopus lacked acidity, and the tartare (supposedly their signature dish) came with a multitude of options: a slice of goat cheese simply placed on top. There wasn't enough seasoning. The wine was very expensive for the quality. The staff were friendly, but a bit too intrusive. For 150 euros—two starters, two main courses, and a bottle of wine—one expects much higher quality.

Disappointing: a "bistronomic" promise far from reality. A mediocre experience at Cul de Poule. For an establishment that claims to be bistronomic, the quality-price-service ratio is simply unjustified. Regarding the food: The prices are high for dishes that sorely lack complexity. Paying €30 for a duck breast that arrived overcooked when I specifically requested it pink is unacceptable. The most frustrating thing was the waitress's reaction: when I pointed out the problem, I clearly felt like I was annoying her. I was given to understand that sending the dish back would mean we would be eating at a different time, as if the cooking error was my responsibility! Regarding the wine cellar: The markups on the wines are excessive. Charging €95 for a bottle of Côte-Rôtie that retails for around €55 is a very (too) comfortable markup that doesn't align with the overall experience, in my opinion, and with my past experiences. Regarding the service: The staff seems obsessed with efficiency and finishing service rather than with customer care. When the bread arrives late two out of three times, it falls far short of expected standards. In short: management that prioritizes profit and efficiency at the expense of the food and the welcome. I do not recommend it. €221.60 for two people.

What a delight! What a joy to dine in such a place! Le Cul de Poule is an exceptional spot where I only go for special occasions, to truly make a statement. Why? First, for the ambiance: A warm and inviting decor dominated by wood; it's a wonderful place to be and a wonderful place to eat. All that's missing is a crackling fire in the fireplace to complete the picture. Then, for the welcome: The moment you walk through the door, the staff's smiles light up your face. You know from the second you enter the restaurant that you're in good hands. Because in addition to being incredibly attentive, they'll advise you, taking the time to explain the dishes on offer, which, just from the name, will make your mouth water. Of course, the same goes for the wine; they'll recommend a pairing that complements your tastes and preferences. For the food: A wide selection of starters and main courses whose names alone will make your mouth water even before they're on your plate. (Note: the sweetbreads with creamy risotto are a marvel; your taste buds will remember them forever.) And what about the tartare menu? Without a doubt, this is where you'll find the widest selection in Reims, and perhaps even beyond. If you love tartare, this is the place to go! In conclusion: It's fresh, it's delicious, it's refined, it's homemade! Almost as good as the dishes my Grandma used to make for me (yes, "almost," I'm not going to upset Grandma!). For all these reasons (and many more), the 5-star Google rating is more than justified. And to be absolutely sure, I'm going back soon for my daughter's 20th birthday to confirm these 5 stars. Thank you to Stéphane, Peggy, and their team for allowing us to experience these magical moments!

A good place to eat. The welcome is friendly and efficient. The service is quick—without being overly fast—and attentive. The dishes are well-prepared and attractively presented, but perhaps uneven in quality. The side dishes are rather simple and unremarkable. A shame! For example: The sweetbreads are well-prepared, but the shrimp casserole lacks character.

La table Saint Thomas

23/01/2026: A wonderful discovery in Reims! Fresh, perfectly cooked ingredients and delicious flavors. Beautifully presented dishes. We enjoyed a glass of 2017 vintage Blanc de Blancs champagne – excellent and great value! We'll be back! Highly recommended.
15/01/2026: This is our second visit, and we are still delighted to eat at this restaurant. The chef's cuisine is refined, and the welcome is warm. The two set menus offered are very reasonably priced for a semi-gastronomic establishment. I highly recommend it!

Salon de Thé Harold

01/02/2026: Excellent brunch & friendly staff. We're never disappointed. We love the quality of the food and the atmosphere (especially the decor 😍).
31/01/2026: Harold, one of our favorite restaurants! The location alone, this little courtyard, sets us apart from the noisy city center and creates a warm and intimate atmosphere. The restaurant, attached to its home decor shop, is simply stunning. The cuisine is refined, featuring high-quality ingredients, and the menu is regularly updated. The service is impeccable. And the price is more than reasonable. This place is a sure bet in Reims.
