Arrived on a Sunday without reservation. Luckily there was room. The welcome is cordial, the setting is very "traditional Alsace", right down to the plates. We didn't regret it: rather quick service despite the crowds and good quality dishes. Whatever some comments suggest, it is definitely not a tourist trap.

We are Alsatians and love Winstub… we tested the different restaurants in Riquewhir, this one is the best in terms of dishes, welcome and atmosphere, very good service, very good value for money, we had a great Alsatian evening, I recommend it to others who are too “tourist-hic”… thank you to them for these good times!!!! Christelle and Olivier

great discovery, a Sunday in the low season, 8 people + a dog, not always easy sometimes. Welcome with a smile, a very friendly home, who loves Labradors. the spoiled dog, bowl of water, a snack and a speculos from the waitress for dessert. if that's not happiness. Thank you 😉

Una gran decepción. Hicimos reserva por las buenas reseñas que tienen. La comida muy buena, eso sí. El servicio pésimo. Nos trataron con desgana y antipatía. Lo peor fue darnos cuenta de que el trato era diferente para los franceses. Vimos negar una mesa vacía a extranjeros y más tarde ofrecérsela a franceses. La señora de gafas debería cambiar de oficio. Además no hacía por entendernos. Una pena. El pueblo sumamente precioso.😘

27/01/2024: The restaurant is cozy and the food is ok, but we expected more, it was too simple "fusion", without any risk. Maybe a bit expensive for what you get and the owner seemed very uninterested in the customers. I see no reason to repeat. Good wine list and Japanese whiskey selection, but they don't have coffee.
30/12/2023: Delicious food, and superb wines (even if the white is sometimes served too cold). The tastes are refined, the pairings precise and tasty. For that alone, you have to eat there once. The quality-price ratio is questionable (quantities, accompaniment), but these are exceptional products. What hasn't been is the reception. Service relaxed, but almost too much; and yet a little distant (going and returning to the table a little hastily; it's good not to harass the customer, but asking about their wishes seems to me a good idea). The room smelled slightly of stale tobacco. When your nostrils are sharp, it's unpleasant; Fortunately it happened during the meal.
