We ordered wine, water, a typical Alsatian dish, and a salad. The waiter was smiling and welcoming. Excellent service.

Excellent Alsatian sauerkraut or green sauerkraut (a specialty of Riquewihr), outstanding service, very good wine. Absolutely nothing to complain about. A must-try if you're in the area. Come and taste the green sauerkraut, it's really worth the trip.

We ate at the restaurant, so we can't comment on the rooms (stupid setting on Google).
We had sauerkraut twice, after all, we were in Alsace. First, the green sauerkraut with four kinds of meat (grilled bacon, white sausage with pistachios, Krakauer sausage, and beer ham), and second, white sauerkraut with pan-fried pike-perch fillet—both were absolutely delicious. Afterwards, we had Gugelhupf ice cream and a cheese platter; there were even six cheeses instead of the advertised three. Fantastic!

What a lovely place! As far as we are concerned, Au Dolder is the coziest restaurant in Riquewihr. We went there no less than three times during our holiday. The food is fantastic and the hospitality of the staff and the owner is truly exceptional. They take all the time for you and you feel welcome immediately. Thanks in part to the lovely people here, we had a wonderful holiday. Highly recommended!

We ate at a simple outdoor table with a splendid view of the town's main street. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The dishes were excellent and plentiful. The price was reasonable.
