Au Dolder sur Riquewihr

The waitress was unpleasant: I asked what vegetables were included in the children's menu, and her response was "depending on availability." I asked what the day's deliveries were, and she replied (without going into the kitchen) with the usual "cauliflower, celery, turnip, carrots." What a lack of interest in my request! At the end of the meal, I asked where to pay, and she curtly replied that the bill would be paid at the table. She brought it to me and then left. I had to call her back to pay, and she retorted, "I was waiting for you to take out your card." Well, I was waiting for you to come back, I told her. The table next to us was also outraged by the exchange. Service makes a big difference in the restaurant experience: I definitely do not recommend it!

It's always a pleasure to return to Dolder for dinner, serving homemade, typically Alsatian dishes – a special mention for the house spaetzle with wild garlic and the Riquewihr-style sauerkraut. We were served by Dounia, one of the best waitresses we've ever had. A big thank you, we'll be back again and again!

€12 for a glass of Edelzwicker (€4), Gewurzstramminer (€4.50), and a Coke Zero (€3.50). Very nice dining room, friendly service, clean restrooms. We'll have to go back.

We visited the restaurant and were initially greeted by an older woman working there. We were informed that we would need to order something to be able to stay. This is understandable, of course, but it could have been phrased more politely. The food was generally good, but nothing particularly outstanding. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while: about 30 minutes for our order to be taken and another 30 minutes for the food to be served. The restaurant's location is very nice and a good place to spend some time. Overall, however, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

A wonderful experience at the family-run restaurant Au Dolder! A warm welcome, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. You can feel the care and tradition in every detail. Highly recommended!

We were visiting Riquewihr and looking for a restaurant for lunch. The weather was exceptionally beautiful and warm for February, and they had put out their terrace. That was the icing on the cake for us! The meal was excellent, with good service and quality food. The onion tart with salad was delicious. Served with a glass of white wine, it was simply perfect! We highly recommend it.

A very warm welcome. Excellent food. What more can I say... especially enjoying it on the terrace in the sunshine in February!
