18/06/2026: Speak-friendly yet feels like settling down in an old friend’s home. The warm red walls around us reminded us of the colourful Riquewihr houses that we have witnessed outside yet it has its unique character that differentiates itself from the others.
Very friendly team and staff were very patient to explain the wines and food in detail like an exciting moment is about to begin.
Lunch here is like savouring every piece of fine art with our eyes, noses and caressing our sense of taste.
The portions were very generous for the lunch set and we left with happy memories and happy stomach. It’s very difficult for us to decide which is the best dish but we love them very much.
Thank you La Table du Gourmet - Restaurant Riquewihr for the lovely afternoon and congratulations to your Michelin star win.
We hope to visit your restaurant next time.

14/06/2026: A quaint hidden gem off the busy main road and down a small street is where you would find this little gem. The atmosphere was great the ambiance was just what you could expect from a French restaurant. The food was delightful and staff was friendly and inviting. They have 3 different prefix menu options which give you great options and a special board too. Our meal was so fresh and rewarding not what I was expecting to get but thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend you trying and eating here if you can. Chef came out at end of meal and introduced himself and was genuinely inviting and interested in your opinion of food.
06/06/2026: An unexpected dessert that delighted our eyes: asparagus, strawberry, and rhubarb soup with white chocolate. The chef's creativity deserves high praise, as does the charm of the place, the quality and simplicity of the service, and the excellent, reasonably priced wine list.

21/06/2026: We thought: a cozy terrace in a tourist village, a glass of wine and a tapas platter to go with it, what could go wrong? Well, apparently we were the wrong kind of customer.
After taking a seat, we ordered a glass of wine and tapas. The waitstaff managed to almost land the plate in our laps, but unfortunately, a smile was not included. However, we discovered at the table next to us that the lady *does* have a smile: there were French people sitting there, and they were clearly more to our liking.
Perhaps working in a tourist village is not the ideal career choice if tourists are mainly perceived as a nuisance. After all, vacationers come to have a good time and feel welcome, not to feel like they are a personal annoyance.
To finish off, we received a small surprise on the bill: it turned out to be higher than the prices on the menu. So be sure to check your bill.
In short: the wine was drinkable, the tapas edible, but hospitality was apparently not on the menu. No second visit for us.

23/05/2026: A little hidden gem tucked away on a side street off the main road, the cellar is nice and cool, which is perfect for summer. The background music is 80s/90s, and the staff are friendly and open to any kind of conversation. We had a great time for €40/€41, including two glasses of wine and two local dishes. Highly recommended.
