23/03/2026: We went to Riquewihr for a visit and wanted to have a drink. We sat down, and when it came time to order, the waitress told us rather curtly that there wasn't a drinks menu. So we ordered a Coke, an Orangina, and a cappuccino. The waitress told us the prices: €4 for the Coke, €4 for the Orangina, and €3 for the cappuccino. The prices of the sodas surprised us greatly, so we decided to check. We found that the price displayed was actually €3.50. Faced with this, the waitress acted as if nothing was wrong, tried to justify herself, and then finally processed the refund. It's worth noting that the table of Germans next to us had also paid €4 for each of their Cokes.

22/03/2026: We visited the restaurant and were initially greeted by an older woman working there. We were informed that we would need to order something to be able to stay. This is understandable, of course, but it could have been phrased more politely. The food was generally good, but nothing particularly outstanding. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while: about 30 minutes for our order to be taken and another 30 minutes for the food to be served. The restaurant's location is very nice and a good place to spend some time. Overall, however, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

05/12/2025: We waited outside for over half an hour because the entrance is a staircase leading to the basement. We could understand that given the time of year. What was intolerable was the waiter's behavior: blond, young, and utterly rude. When we asked him why we had to share a table with four other people, something we wouldn't have minded, he started speaking rudely to us, took our cutlery, kicked us out of the restaurant, and let the next customers in as if nothing had happened, after all the waiting. He even made obscene gestures while I was holding my baby. It was absolutely shameful. This individual shouldn't be working in customer service: disgraceful, aggressive, and completely disrespectful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE WITH CHILDREN.

17/10/2025: Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Food was great. Recommended!

06/04/2026: Basically, it probably doesn't matter much where you eat in Riquewihr... the menus and prices are quite similar. However, that doesn't affect the quality of the food, nor the smiles and personal touches from the staff. On Easter Monday, we got a table right on the street with a view of the tower. The main courses were delicious, but the children's meal wasn't quite to our daughter's liking. She ended up helping herself to the adults' plates instead! 🫣 We still left satisfied, though! 🤗💪

05/04/2026: Restaurant serving typical Alsatian cuisine... sufficient space in the restaurant on the ground floor, first floor, as well as outside... good typical wines to accompany the meal... normal price for the area... Simple, friendly and efficient service.

05/04/2026: One of our best meal in Alsace. The two BBQ options (beef and porc) are exceptional 👌. Excellent choice of wine 🍷. We could see that the restaurant could get very busy, but the service remains efficient, friendly and courteous. Strongly recommended.

10/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience… Even though the food was good, the welcome and service were catastrophic (and I mean it). We understand that the Christmas market period means endless, grueling days for the staff, but there are limits. Upon arrival, we waited for nearly 10 minutes in a cramped space without any of the numerous people passing by bothering to greet us or provide any information—even though we had a reservation. Once seated, taking our order was just as chaotic: the waitress seemed to be discovering the cocktail and drinks menu for the first time. And when we didn't respond within a minute, she decided on her own that we didn't want to order anything and moved directly to the next customer… Truly amateurish management.

01/01/2026: Restaurant to avoid. Nice staff and setting, but the food is disastrous. The tarte flambée is sparsely filled and very bland. Some dishes, like the onion tart, are clearly reheated from the day before.

29/12/2025: A small restaurant with a very limited menu. By 1:00, they were already closing down new customers. We had two typical dishes, which were delicious and with decent portions. There's no internet access inside, and there's no Wi-Fi.

11/11/2025: I was attracted by the display with all the biscuits that seemed really good. Also I wanted to try the traditional bredeles which seems to be a speciality in the region. The staff was a bit unbothered and was not very professional. While we ordered, the Lady behind the counter stopped listening and started talking to her colleagues and then asked us to repeat again. She proceeded to do the same thing when we were paying. Other than that, the biscuits were good though nothing really special. It's a bit expensive for the quality and service in my opinion.
