23/06/2026: A pleasant and well-located café. You can even get light meals during the day and have breakfast.
A lovely terrace, partially covered and heated during the colder months.
In the immediate vicinity of the historical museum, the Saturday morning market, and the flea market.
A place not to be missed, even if the drinks are a bit pricey.
However, the service is average.
21/06/2026: A special shout-out to your waitress Sacha, who is exceptional. I'm not a regular at the café, but I walk past it every day since I live in the neighborhood. I often run into her, and I have to say she's always the first to say hello, with such disarming sincerity that she sometimes even repeats "hello."
And when she does, it's ALWAYS when someone hasn't seen or heard her. :) If this place exudes more integrity than any other café in the world, even as far as Les Halles, I'd bet it's entirely thanks to her. Well done, Sacha, don't change. In fact, I'd even say it's ridiculous how genuine the conversations are. And you know what? She's so uninterested in the attention she receives that she probably never makes that comment more than once. Yesterday, I witnessed a scene that perfectly captured her: even when pressed for time, she remained polite and kind. Without a doubt, for all of Strasbourg (and I don't think I'm exaggerating), she's the most punctual and consistent waitress in all of Strasbourg, in every situation. The only role she truly excels at is making us happy. You must be thrilled to have this little gem on the team. A real treasure.
