Au Fief du Chateau sur Orschwiller

A restaurant where we stop during our visit to Orschwiller...good food and top-notch service...it is better to reserve....

Very nice hotel, very warm welcome, friendly owner and staff. Very spacious, clean rooms. Evening meal very good. Very generous and varied breakfast.

Small hotel and restaurant run by super friendly staff in a very beautiful village below the famous Château. The room was clean and spacious but quite loud until well after midnight so don't expect to sleep early. Instead, you can pay the restaurant a visit which is situated directly below the rooms, therefore the noise. It's likely quieter when the restaurant isn't open to the public, i.e. during the week. The restaurant is closed Wednesdays. When it comes to food, we got a fantastic breakfast, highly recommended! A great selection of charcuterie, cheese, bread, cakes, jam and cereals, there's definitely something for every taste. Dinner however was a bit disappointing. Flammekuech was ok but the duck breast (magret du canard) was pretty tough, even though you wouldn't guess this from the photo. Calf's head (it really is a calf's head baked into bread) needed a bit more salt. Portions are truly enormous. We're good eaters but couldn't finish everything and skipped dessert altogether. Obviously, the wines are directly from the surrounding wineries and very tasty. With a bit less quantity and a bit more quality, it would have been a perfect traditional Elsass dinner.

Ravis de notre déjeuner hier à midi.. tout était parfait..Accueil chaleureux, gentillesse et professionnalisme du personnel..si on ajoute à cela la saveur des plats servis, on ne peut que se réjouir de notre Repas en Famille ..et de l'excellent moment passé au Fief du Château...nous conseillons vivement cette adresse...Et ferons en sorte d'y revenir lors d'un prochain séjour en Alsace !!!! Pleasant and friendly hotel where you feel at home! The hotel is very clean, not to mention the breakfasts which delighted our taste buds to start the day off right! Savory or sweet taste buds will find what they're looking for! Congratulations to the owners Christophe and Bernard who deserve their 3 stars and our desire to come back!

Auberge alsacienne située dans un joli village de la route des vins,semble fréquentée par les locaux.Déjeuner avec nos 2 petites filles,très bon accueil,jolie salle .Menu du jour avec produits de qualité,très bon rapport qualité prix.Gentillesse des serveurs qui sont efficaces.A recommander.
