I always go to this bakery or the one in La Chaume, which is excellent. But yesterday I bought what was sold to me as rum babas, but I was looking for the rum—there was no rum in it. I had bought some in La Chaume that were excellent, with a real rum flavor, but I was disappointed. At €9 and change, I was a bit let down. After that, I bought a burger, which was excellent, as well as a ham and butter sandwich—too much butter in it—and some wraps. They looked big, but they were small, with a lot of salad and not much sauce. I don't know what happened that day, but it wasn't great.

Passing through Les Sables-d'Olonne, I stopped at this bakery. I got a wrap and a vanilla flan. Incredibly good. I have nothing but praise for the wrap; I'm even shocked by it. I got it to go, and the packaging was perfect. I was blown away by the vanilla flan; from the first bite, pure bliss in my mouth—the best flan I've ever eaten. It was perfect, truly perfect. The bakery is spotless, with tables both inside and outside. Everything is perfect at this bakery; I highly recommend it!

I ordered a salad, which is what the label in the window said. Once I got there to eat, I realized it was actually a Poké bowl (rice, salmon, grated carrots, cucumber, radish, etc.). No big deal, I like those too! But how can I put it... Everyone has their specialty. The rice was undercooked, so dry... despite the dressing, or rather vinaigrette, luckily I had soy sauce at home. The salmon was tasteless and didn't look very appetizing... I doubted its freshness; I wasn't convinced it had been made that morning. Anyway, I didn't finish my meal. The display was so tempting, though; lots of things looked delicious! But honestly, just skip the Poké bowls 😉

I stop by occasionally; the pastries are good and the prices are reasonable.
Overall it's good, but the last time I had a crumble, it was missing some topping.

I don't often walk past this bakery, but when I do, I simply have to stop! Their sliced brioche, right behind the counter, is gorgeous and so tempting. It's the best brioche I've ever eaten! And the service is always so welcoming. Well done to the whole team! ☺️

I've known this bakery for a while, especially for their flan, which is excellent 👌 This time, I wanted to try their "Brioche à la coupe" (sliced brioche), and I can't be the only one who appreciates its taste, texture, and baking. Wow! I've never tasted such a good brioche; it's a delight. When something is this good, you go back, and you inspire those who crave a real brioche.
My rating: 10/10
