Au Fil de l'Eau sur Seyssel

Chambre agréable avec vue sur le Rhône. Limite au niveau propreté 😕 Pour le restaurant, le plat à 25€ n'est pas donné. Bref, nous n'y reviendrons pas.

We stayed here overnight on a bike tour. The wheels are enclosed but get wet in the rain at night. The hotel is getting old. Our room was clean and ok, with a balcony and a view of the river. We didn't use the restaurant, the breakfast was good. Overall, the areas accessible to guests could be cleaned up (there was a lot of stuff lying around) and the general areas and probably the rooms could use a renovation. The service was very friendly and attentive, we can't complain about that.

Good restaurant good value for money visited in August

Very pleasant stopover, hotel very well located, simple comfort but good services (air conditioning, small balcony overlooking the Rhône) and very pleasant restaurant on the water's edge with very good dishes.

Seyssel is situated half in Ain (downtown) and half in Haute-Savoie(uptown). It is absolutely beautiful place to spend half a day in this charming little town. For a nice meal, I strongly recommend Hotel Beau Séjour, if it’s a nice day, get a table at the balcony, overlooking the Rhone. Good value for money and don’t forget to try the local Lambert Vieilles Vignes whit wine😋. Kayaking also available for those who like a bit of adventure!

We stopped at random, attracted by the pretty terrace, and it was the only thing that seemed nice about this restaurant. The menu is very limited and not really a choice for a light summer meal. So we settled on beef tartares. They were way too spicy, almost tolerable, served with a few fries and a salad with a very strong sauce as well. The value for money was not particularly good. The cocktail offered by the waitress wasn't great either. Regarding the service, the waitress seemed friendly, nothing more, being in the restaurant business myself, I found that her service was really limited to the bare minimum, bringing plates, without even offering us wine or coffee. .. In short, the view was nice, we even had the chance to see a beaver passing by, but other than that I think we won't come back

Charming hotel on the banks of the Rhône, lovely staff, spacious room, large terrace on the banks of the Rhône.

Hotel sans prétention, pourtant la situation au bord du Rhône, l'accueil, la gentillesse du personnel, la grande terrasse pour les repas au bord de l'eau, la tranquillité, le salon pour boire un verre et la cuisine excellente sont les ponts forts de cet établissement . Certes la chambre n'a rien de luxueux mais propre ,nous avions opté pour une chambre avec grande terrasse sur laquelle étaient disposés une table 2 fauteuil et un transat pour se reposer au son du fleuve. Nous avons apprécié notre soirée et notre nuit.
