Au Fil de l'Eau sur Morannes

A lovely spot by the water. We arrived by bike and received a very warm welcome. The meal was excellent, almost too much. It was very hot, but we left with fresh water – a very thoughtful touch. We'll definitely be back. The regular activities are worth checking out. Thank you!

Great restaurant, the owners are kind, pleasant, and helpful, and their meat is exceptional! The fries are good, approved by a true foodie from northern France! All the best and see you soon. Manu and Aurélie

So friendly and personable. Really great place for kids. Lovely garden and river views

The location and service are impeccable. However, the food is more than just passable. It's acceptable, but it could be better. And to top it all off, they asked for extra sauce when a tiny amount was served. The cookie dessert is ridiculously overpriced and really not very tasty. You're clearly paying for the location. Also, be aware that you need to book well in advance!

We are a long way from home, tired and have a language barrier but this has not stopped the family working here making us feel welcome and looked after. We had some drinks on the terrace and the Chicken Burger to take away and it was absolutely fantastic. It came with a breaded cheese burger on it and chips and sauce as sides. Great value for money. They had some dance entertainment going on and a lovely atmosphere on the terrace. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

A quiet and pleasant spot by the water, perfect lunch. The owner and waitress were very friendly.

Highly recommended. A great find. Very good menu at an affordable price. Simple, truly perfect, and delicious cuisine. Friendly welcome and excellent service. In a very pleasant setting.

Nice place, it's a shame the service and communication were lacking. The customer suffers and has to pay despite the lack of communication from the waitresses and manager. A lack of professionalism and no gesture of goodwill or respect. The children's meal wasn't taken into account because the waitress didn't do her job, and the red meat was excessively salty and peppery. A shame if you don't like it. Anyway, it's not a big deal (a wink to the manager who told us that it meant the customer wasn't satisfied).

Congratulations to the manager who handles both the kitchen and customer service. Well done to this dynamic young team who are still learning the ropes.

Absolutely perfect! A very warm welcome, great friendliness, our dishes were delicious, and the service was top-notch. I'll definitely be back! Jason was great 👍🏻
