A visit for tea in this magical place. Warm welcome from the owner. A very pleasant saleswoman who delighted us with her description of the different types of madeleines. It's a shame you had to book three months in advance. The tea room was full. Next time! 🤗

Judging by the queue at the entrance, it must be amazing. We waited about half an hour to shop because the tea tables were full. I can't say how it tastes yet 😂

Visiting with my family, I wasn't expecting to stumble upon such a charming tea room. We were greeted by a very sweet, passionate, and kind lady who immediately put us at ease. She introduced us to a selection of teas, each more unique than the last. I loved the experience and wouldn't hesitate to return for another journey through the delicate aromas and flavors of their teas. Thank you, and see you soon!

While passing through Strasbourg, I discovered it by chance at the back of the garden; it was like being Alice in Wonderland, drawn in by the beauty of the small garden and the wonderfully decorated shop window… Once inside the shop, I'll let you imagine?

We had a wonderful experience at Au Fond du Jardin and our visit to this magical tea room was a highlight to our time in Strasbourg. The owner's passion for his venue and creations comes through clearly, even though it is all spoken in French and we only speak English :). From the moment you walk into the shop, you feel welcomed and special. There were only 5 tables available, so if you want to have your moment in the tea room, you should make your reservation early. We were giddy when we were moved from the wait list to a confirmed reservation. The Madeline cakes are works of art, and each comes with an inspiration origin story, as do each of the tea blends. The atmosphere is enchanting, but as mentioned above, it's the owner who gives the space life. It was a joyful experience and if we are ever blessed to be back in Strasbourg, we will definitely try and make reservations again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

A wonderful tea room! The madeleines are exquisite, the teas fragrant, and the decor charming. They take the time to explain the day's madeleines and the different teas they offer. Be aware that you need to book months in advance if you want to enjoy the experience in-house, but takeout is available!

A magical, timeless place... well worth the wait 😊 A bit of a wait in the charming little garden, as the "Au fond du jardin" shop has limited capacity for small groups. I was warmly welcomed by Frédéric Robert in this very British setting, who passionately presented his travel-inspired madeleines 💜. I left with six madeleines: Menton Lemon, Red Scarab, Vanilla Delight, Mademoiselle, Marrakech Garden, and Mauve Iris, along with a beautiful cup and saucer, all expertly packaged and scented with David Austin Roses, as a gift to celebrate my granddaughter's 22nd birthday. The gift was a hit!!! Yes!!! I highly recommend this magnificent place 😍🌸🌹🏵️ I'm already booking a tea time in July... 🌸
