If you prefer authentic cuisine to pretentious cuisine, Mazot is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Val Thorens. (even if the tivoli is not far away)

Very good place, usually fully booked in advance. While the dinner and service were very good, we were disappointed this time by the size of the portions: a terrine de lapin that was really XXS and a selle d'agneau that was more like a starter than a main course after a day skying.

18/05/2024: In summer the resort is relatively calm, and very diverse in activities with one downside: the "Ascension Pass" is too expensive, + you still have to pay for the activities!
28/04/2024: Good variety of pistes, well organised lifts. Shopping arcade is a bit cramped and dark
