Such a charming space, with really amazing food, including traditional French options, an extensive wine by the glass list, and attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended!

We came here by chance, looking for a Bistro where you can enjoy delicious French food. And that was absolutely spot on! Delicious onion soup, delicious rack of lamb and excellent cassoulet. The wines were also excellent. And all this in a very nice atmosphere with excellent and very friendly service! Thank you!

Passed by by chance, we had a great time with our children. Very welcoming, great musical atmosphere, the children loved the tapas and our dishes were very good. By the way, very nice wine list. To do again 😉

Good place to have à dinner, the quality of the food is quite good and the atmosphere is really nice like a good French bistro … however the waitress is really unpleasant and she looks like the only thing she want is to get rid of you as soon as possible … another problem are the prices a bit above the average

My wife, daughter and I shared a charcuterie board and the food was amazing. We were the only English speaking customers and our waiter was so patient and helpful. The establishment is beautiful, their staff and atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food is amazing. Au Pere Louis is a MUST for anyone wanting to experience Paris.

Very warm welcome, the setting is pleasant. The dishes served looked appetizing, and hearing people's comments, they were satisfied. For my part, I liked the cappuccino.

Exceptional!!! I had an herb-crusted rack of lamb served spectacularly with its fiery thyme, and the person I was with had a cassoulet that was as dantesque as it was delicious. The desserts are just as exquisite, notably the tarte tatin and the colonel, which is not described as "mythical" for nothing! Very pleasant setting and service, an address that I recommend for any fan of French gastronomy, in particular for meat lovers!

05/04/2024: A gigantic banh-mi with glazed pork for 7 euros. Who says better ? They are friendly, efficient and give good advice on seasoning.
25/03/2024: (My mom and I are Vietnamese) and it’s one of our favorite places! We love the special and the beef satay 😍 Can't wait to try the sausage one

02/04/2024: Many restaurants have emerged in the 18th, but the Montcalm restaurant remains a safe haven. No showoff, no excess of originality, the dishes are well executed, the combinations thoughtful, balanced, never boring. Saturday night's dinner was flawless. We had a great time. On the bowling side, a nice natural wine list, the advice is sound. Service just as pleasant. In short, by far, one of my big favorites in the neighborhood.
