Japanese food with French influence in the middle of wine trails. Quite the experience

Excellent dinner in a very simple setting. Our two starters (including gyoza), two main courses (lamb and duck) and two desserts (fig and fresh fruit tart with fromage blanc mousse) were delicious.

Excellent food that combines French cuisine with Japanese influences. Extensive wine list featuring predominantly Burgundian wines, but also wines from other French regions. Discreet yet attentive service. The restaurant is run by a young (Japanese) family. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely return at least once more during our Burgundy holiday.

A wonderful surprise to end our weekend in Burgundy! Our last stop on the way home after our weekend in Burgundy… and what an incredible discovery! We absolutely loved it from beginning to end. First of all, the setting is idyllic. We were lucky enough to have the terrace all to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. The welcome was warm, attentive, and genuine: within minutes, we felt almost at home. And then came the meal… A real revelation! 🤩 From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, absolutely everything was meticulously planned. Each dish was delicate, precise, and above all, bursting with flavor. We adored this fusion of Japanese gastronomy, umami, and the products and influences of Burgundy. Original, subtle, and perfectly executed cuisine, with delightful surprises in every bite. Special mention also goes to the wine list, which is simply exceptional! 🍷 We had a truly unforgettable experience and certainly one of the best meals of our entire weekend in Burgundy. It's the kind of place you leave already wanting to come back. A huge thank you for this experience. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! An address not to be missed. ❤️

A unique gastronomic stop in a charming little village in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, not far from the site of the former Saint-Vivant Abbey. The Japanese chef presents a Japanese-inspired menu with Burgundian touches and high-quality ingredients. The wine list, of course, lives up to the restaurant's name and extends well beyond Burgundy appellations, with very reasonable markups. Friendly and fairly quick service. Pleasant terrace in the warmer months. A highly recommended stop. Small parking area.
