Excellent food! I recommend it 100%!

A truly memorable experience in Curtil-Vergy. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The dishes were remarkably refined, especially the delicate combination of asparagus with capers and bacon bits. We also enjoyed a selection of magnificent wines, ranging from 2010 to 2023. A must-visit for lovers of fine food and quality ingredients. I will definitely be back.

Passing through Curtil for one night, this little restaurant had already caught our eye last year. We went there this time. Honestly, not much to say... we ate incredibly well and were delighted to meet the owners. Special mention for the gyoza 🥺 I hope you enjoyed the beer! 😁

This place is fantastic. It feels like you're at a party, yet the food is comparable to a gourmet restaurant. My taste buds are thrilled.

Excellent products, very fine, a very pleasant surprise

We last visited 14 years ago. The restaurant is now under a new chef owner. It now serves Japanese food with local produce. Appetisers can be shared plates which works wonderfully. Starters that were wonderful were their beef tataki, tuna tartar, gyozas, chicken karaage and takoyaki. For mains, the ramen was outstanding..noodles were hand made, soup stock deeply flavourful, chasiu pork slices tender and tasty and bean sprouts adding to the mouthful goodness of the noodles. Curry tonkatsu was exactly as you would expect from a good restaurant in Japan. For tempura the batter was perfectly done. There is a good wine list with more than a few old vintage wines. The meal was served in the terrace which was lovely in the evening. Well worth the short drive from Nuit St George through quiet country roads.

Everything was excellent, from the service to the food and the quality wine list. I highly recommend this restaurant. The waiter was very pleasant and extremely kind.

An excellent restaurant where Burgundian cuisine is given a modern twist if you wish... otherwise, let yourself be tempted by the Japanese gastronomy. It's delicious. Special mention for the magnificent drive that leads to this timeless place. Reservations are essential. Exceptional wine cellar.

A wonderful discovery in Curtil-Vergy, in a wonderfully tranquil setting, a taste of Japan right in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards. The dishes are delicious, perfectly balanced, not at all heavy, and the umami flavors accompany the meal from appetizer to dessert. The service is very quick. The wine list is excellent, featuring bottles from the Domaine des Comtes de Vogüé. Besides the Japanese dishes, there's also the option of sticking with tradition and trying a beef bourguignon. Don't hesitate to stop by. The terrace is peaceful, serenaded by birdsong. Kudos to the whole team!
