Au Petit Montmartre sur Paris

Excellent coffee shop with exceptionally friendly staff. We also greatly appreciated their honesty: we had left our AirPods there, and thanks to the geolocation feature, we realized they were still at the café. After contacting them on social media, they quickly replied that they had found them and carefully set them aside for us. A rare find in Paris! So we returned the next day to pick them up and took the opportunity to have lunch there. Once again, the experience was excellent: friendly and welcoming staff, a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and delicious galettes and crêpes. The waitress we dealt with on this second visit was radiant and had a contagious good mood. A big thank you for her service! Both our visits were very satisfying, which makes us all the more surprised by some of the negative comments we've read here. For our part, we had a wonderful time on each visit and we will definitely be back!

The best in Paris: polite, friendly, and the manager is very professional and attentive. It's located at the foot of Montmartre; if you want large, modern bathrooms, London is a better option. Plus, the prices are the most reasonable in Paris.

We were sitting there, people watching, cooling off, listening to a gentleman playing violin as people walked towards the wall of love. We sipped on Aperols. Eventually, another strolling musician came by and started playing. I got the hot dog… it was so so good. My wife thought I was crazy until she tried it. I ended up ordering her one! Only thing that caught me off guard was cash only. I didn’t have enough and tried 2 different ATMs. They were kind enough to walk over to a neighboring restaurant and do a credit card transaction for me and get cash from the drawer. My waiter was super kind and attentive easily making eye contact if I needed anything.

I'm quite surprised by the comments. We went there for a light snack on Sunday: a sugar crepe for €5 and a diabolo for €5.50. Given the location, I expected it to be even more expensive. The service was quick and the waiter was very courteous!

The freshly squeezed juice was passable, but expensive. Also, the terrace isn't ideal (the sun gets in, and the tables are very close together). The servers, however, are very friendly.

Cash only, maybe that's why the prices are lower? ATM is near by if you make mistake of thinking credit cards are acccepted, and you miss the tiny note on the store window. But I'd rather go to a place that accepts credit when traveling. Credit cards are universal and a waiter won't point out to you that he'd never go to my country expecting to pay in Euros, flashing euros out of his pocket at me. Okay I've got the message. Food was very nice though.

First of all: Card payment is possible! I don't understand the bad reviews either. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the food is freshly prepared.

I was very satisfied with our snack, and I'm surprised by the other comments! We were able to pay by card (possible for purchases over €10). Our hot dogs and croque-monsieur were delicious, the waiter was lovely and efficient, the setting was nice—in short, we enjoyed the experience! The prices are indeed a bit high, but given the location, that's to be expected.

Fantastic find! 🌞🍽️ The terrace is absolutely perfect: a lovely setting, a relaxed atmosphere, and ideal for enjoying quality time with friends or family. Special mention for the ambiance on the terrace, perfect when the weather is nice ☀️ I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back.
