A small country restaurant near the ocean, easy parking, traditional homemade cuisine, simple, quick, and efficient, fresh ingredients, and very reasonable prices. The chef and waitress are two very friendly and professional young people. A must-try!
I highly recommend this restaurant!

We stopped for lunch on our way back from vacation, and it was a great find. A warm welcome, quality meals, and a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the experience, as did our 5-year-old son.

Really a great little restaurant. A warm welcome from the waitress, so cute and their adorable dog. Traditional cuisine as we like it for country people like us. Simplicity and sweetness as we like it. Thank you and don't hesitate to stop by after the beach... She even offered me some lovely sunscreen 🥰

Two of us stopped here for lunch and each opted for a "menu du jour":
The starter: Serrano ham with pickled cucumbers and crispy baguette was very tasty.
Unfortunately, the main course was disappointing: The fries were darkly fried but cold and rubbery, the entrecôte was extremely marbled, the sauces were bland, and the salmon was gray.
The waitress explained that the fishmonger had informed her that salmon isn't naturally pink, but that it only comes from the feed: Well, if it's not wild salmon and the farmer doesn't add astaxanthin, then that's probably how it is. Unfortunately, the explanation didn't make it taste any better.
The fries were re-served upon request: Same color, same rubbery consistency, but hot. A suspicious "ping" from the kitchen before the re-serving raises the suspicion that a microwave was at work.
A friend of the house also had the entrecôte with fries, which he praised highly: They looked really good too – golden brown and crispy, just as they should be.
Is there perhaps a double standard here?
We won't know, because we won't be coming back. But that explains the good reviews from other guests... and the question when paying whether we were on our way home...
