Very good restaurant. From the appetizer to the famous pastry cart, everything is exquisite. The service is not to be outdone and is very efficient. The address to know for eating well in Alençon.

The best dinner I had on this trip to France, the best!

We were delighted and charmed by our evening at Petit Vatel. The welcome is very warm in a calm and elegant setting. We really appreciated the flavor and delicacy of the dishes. Our taste buds were enchanted. We thank and congratulate the entire team.

It was our first visit to this gourmet restaurant, but we were disappointed. In my opinion, the reception was not up to par, nothing informed when we entered so we waited from the entrance and the same to leave. The waitress pointed to the table reserved for us without accompanying us. The starter (marinated mackerel) exquisite, the main course (rib steak, fries) good but nothing very sophisticated, and the desserts (desserts and sweets served on their choice of trays) for a gastro I find it a shame not to have desserts at the more refined plate. The other possibility (ice) was not asked of us. And I hadn’t finished my dessert before our plates were cleared. The setting is rather pleasant, clean and calm. But we had the feeling that we were disturbing and that we had to be dispatched quickly. There is a lack of finesse in the service and in the plates. Too bad the starter was worthy of a gourmet dish, but the rest did not follow.

Menu à 39€ d'un excellent rapport qualité prix. Tout est fait maison avec soin et élégance. Nous avons apprécié tous les plats du menu, (nous étions nombreux et avons goûté à tout !), service impeccable et aimable. Je conseille cette adresse où je reviendrai avec plaisir.

A moment of ultimate conviviality. A service with little care, in a quiet environment. Refined cuisine... what more could you ask for?
