We ate at this restaurant on the first Saturday of the Christmas Market. The short trip was definitely worth it. We enjoyed a delicious meal in an Alsatian atmosphere, surrounded by vineyards. The traditional cuisine was high-quality and generous.

We came on a whim and read the reviews after ordering; most seemed disappointed and surprised by the unfriendly attitude of the servers…
Our experience proved the opposite: homemade dishes, perfectly cooked duck, a generous and flavorful salad, and a lemon meringue pie just as you'd imagine it. The service was quick, certainly, but straightforward, with helpful and efficient advice from the servers. Ultimately, we couldn't ask for more.

The welcome and seating were perfect, the waitress was very attentive, and we were quickly immersed in the family atmosphere. The recommended wines were delicious, and the food was excellent and plentiful!
In our opinion, this restaurant is very underrated. We wish you many more years of success.

It's true that the place is pleasant, the decor is original, the paintings are in the Alsatian style, and the terrace is calm and bucolic.
As for the menu, however, it remains quite limited, and even if the portions are generous, you'll often find more side dishes than main courses... You can judge this by my warm goat cheese salad, where you really have to hunt down the two small toasts hidden under the pile of salad...
The service, however, even if it's too fast, remains cold and unfriendly. It's a shame because the place has everything going for it, but the culinary and service experience isn't great.

I went back after a while, there must be a new chef. The ham hock was excellent on a bed of sauerkraut.
The service was impeccable and with a smile. A little nod to the waiters.
As for the dessert, it was good.
Thank you 🥰 for this meal. I don't eat much, so I finished it all.
