We were delighted to find the dining room rearranged, complete with background music and air conditioning.
The menu, presented by a smiling hostess, offered some lovely combinations.
The generous, flavorful dishes were original and refreshingly light. A Bib Gourmand without hesitation; I'll be back as soon as the new menu is available.

A very pleasant gastronomic break during our visit to Bayeux. Located right next to Notre-Dame Cathedral, this restaurant offers a charming setting that immediately invites you to sit down. The chef offers flavorful, creative, and perfectly executed cuisine, with prices that remain reasonable considering the quality of the dishes.
The welcome is warm and professional, and the excellent wine list seals the deal, making it well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

It's always a great pleasure to share a meal at L'Alcôve. In this restaurant in the heart of Bayeux, you'll be welcomed with genuine warmth and enjoy a delicious meal featuring creative dishes worthy of fine cuisine, all at a reasonable price considering the quality of the food. Furthermore, the recent acoustic improvements allow everyone to dine without ever having to strain to hear. I highly recommend this establishment.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The set menu during the Bayeux Medieval Festival was fantastic. The staff is simply perfect. If you're looking for a quiet restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food and friendly service, I recommend it. They also have a very good wine list.
