We visit Mittelbergheim every autumn and stopping at this rustic restaurant with very fine food is always a “mandatory event”. Unfortunately the restaurant is closing at the end of the year, which is very unfortunate and difficult to replace. Another pearl of Alsace less...

We stayed at their bed and breakfast for a night and greatly enjoyed it. The people are incredibly friendly, the rooms comfortable, good breakfast too. The restaurant is great - we got much more than anticipated, they have an excellent selection of local (as in same village) wines, and the food was very tasty, prices extremely fair. We’ll definitely be back. Just be aware that getting to the parking is a touch hair-raising with a big-ish (Tesla Y) car.

What a beautiful place. A cozy restaurant, in a unique village. The food was so delicious, everything freshly prepared, high quality products!! the service was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back and will also stay overnight in the associated hotel.

Good little village winstub, no fuss and quality. Reserving is not useless, regulars know that... even on Friday evening and especially in season!

Set back restaurant with very quiet terrace. Generous quantities served. Very good dishes. We enjoyed ourselves. One downside: the service, more than 2 hours spent at the table for a main course + dessert.

La terrasse était déjà complètement occupée à notre arrivée et nous avons très gentiment été dirigés vers la salle du 1er étage. Une décoration typique, une service sympathique et efficace. Nous avons partagé une salade alsacienne en entrée et deux flammeküche ( une Munster et une aux chanterelles) servies bien chaudes c’était un délice. Un soufflé au marc de Gewurtztraminer pour couronner le tout.

26/01/2025: Very good address. We are from the Vosges and spent a weekend at 5 Terres in Barr. The restaurant was full and we ended up at Am Lindeplatzel quite by chance. And we are more than delighted, like our taste buds. The setting is very nice, it feels a bit like a warm and cozy inn. The waitresses are very cheerful, pleasant, and know their job, which is very appreciable. They are very caring and so kind. It was my birthday and I was entitled to my little candle. Finally, and most importantly, the food. Just wow. An extremely original choice that you really can't find anywhere. And of a quality, of a finesse... It's impressive. Our taste buds are delighted and so are we. A big thank you to the whole team. We will come back for sure.
