Amazing to rediscover this fantastic restaurant! The welcome is so friendly and warm 👌 The servers have a great sense of humor, and the food is top-notch, beautifully presented 🤗 Kudos to the chef first and foremost, but also to the kind and down-to-earth servers.

There were five of us. We were served by Emie; it wasn't our first time, and we're always happy. She's a very attentive waitress who advises customers on the flavors. Plus, she's very pleasant and always smiling. I recommend her.

18/03/2026: It had been 10 years since I'd been to a Hippopotamus, and what a wonderful rediscovery it was in January 2026! A steakhouse atmosphere with all the delicious aromas that go with it. A very varied menu. The service is efficient and very pleasant. We appreciated the little chips to accompany our aperitif. The dishes were very good, and the chestnut dessert was a pure delight! I will definitely be back! Reservations can be made online. Update following my third visit in March 2026: Thank you to Rachel, who was particularly efficient and pleasant. A thank you also to the rest of the team for their kindness. The food is always top-notch! And that applecake was delicious! 🤪
