Went with colleagues for an after-work drink during the week. The bar was really nice, very well located, with a lovely terrace and a delightful waiter. I had a glass of rosé and a cheese and charcuterie board. Everything was very fresh and high quality. There was a Latin vibe the evening we were there. We'll be back very soon ;) I highly recommend it.

It would be a huge mistake to come to Grenoble without going to Le Rencard; it's definitely a place you shouldn't miss. Everything about it is top-notch: the atmosphere, the cocktails, and the friendliness of the bartenders, especially Sam, Pierre, and Fred. You'll have a fantastic time, I can assure you. Where to begin? We were simply looking for a no-strings-attached date. Imagine our surprise at the warm welcome from Pierre, Sam, and Fred! Not only does the music sweep you away, but good vibes are the cornerstone of this place! Without a doubt, Le Rencard is every bit as good as any other bar. So, don't just walk, run to your date!! I often go on Tuesdays and Samuel and Pierre's service is excellent, always smiling and welcoming. I recommend the bar.

If you don't know where to go for an aperitif with friends or eat a good charcuterie board, Au Rencard is the place to go. Top location and top level staff!!!

The location is nice and there are many tables outside to enjoy the view of the Halles right opposite the bar. Service is nice and friendly and it is a pretty good place to spend a night in town. Unfortunately, in an area with loads of great options for bars, this one is a little pricey with their average IPA beer being a little over €8 a pint. They have a decent wine selection which could potentially be a better value option. Food platters are OK but not exceptional either. On the plus side, they do host regular English speaking social events which are a fun time most of the time and service is always nice and pleasant.

14/04/2026: I want to apologize for yesterday. I was the one singing on the terrace, and I apologize if the songs were disturbing. The bartenders weren't responsible and asked us several times to stop, which we didn't. They did their job very well; it's simply that we didn't respect their requests.

01/07/2026: An interesting culinary experience. The dishes were enjoyable, but more details about their ingredients would be helpful, especially for those with specific dietary needs. The chef's cocktail was very good. However, the sommelier's response to my colleague's request for a non-alcoholic beverage was somewhat disappointing and could be improved. When serving wine, it would also be appreciated if the offer were made to all diners at the table, not just certain individuals. Finally, when a customer requests coffee at the end of their meal, it would be important to offer them some. Unless, of course, the establishment doesn't have a coffee machine? A beautiful presentation on the plate, but a few service aspects could use more attention.
14/06/2026: Several lunches at Fantin Latour restaurant and always a true pleasure. Refined and flavorful cuisine, with particularly delicious salmon. Special mention for the almond and olive oil ice cream, an original and surprising combination worth discovering. Attentive service and a pleasant setting. A great place to eat in Grenoble!
