Superb place, friendly welcome in a very comfortable little inn, with a quality restaurant menu. Perfect stopover for a warm welcome for cyclists. Not to be missed. Thanks again for the hospitality.

We went there for a meal. We hadn't heard of this place before, but what a pleasant surprise! The dishes were beautifully presented and expertly prepared. The setting was charming. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

Rooms are basic but good value. Location is in beautiful village with lovely river walk a few yards away. When I went (May - low season) they charged only 99 euros for dinner, bed and breakfast. Food was lovely home cooking. Owner speaks good English.

Very Charming hotel with super friendly host. Good value for money including the “Demi-pension”. Great wine. Nice terrace well located at the center place of the fine little village Chamarandes near Chaumont, the Marne and a castle. Personalised service even for a “en route” stay of only 1 night. Older building is part of the charm and has all you need. We might stop again on our trip back home. Thank you !

A lovely place that's well worth a visit. The food is excellent, and the wines are very good. The owner is perfect in his service and management. The rooms are perfectly acceptable, and you have access to Canal+. Thanks again for the warm welcome and the humor...

What a pleasure to sleep in places like this for someone like me who spends my life on the road! The welcome was exceptional, the owner is lovely and so kind (a rare find these days)! The food, the breakfast, the surroundings, the peace and quiet, everything is perfect... pure bliss... This will now be my go-to place in Chaumont.

We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken parmentier (we even ordered an extra portion). The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. We highly recommend it.
