The food was very good, the service very pleasant, we had a great time. It's a shame the beautiful central fireplace wasn't lit in December during the Christmas season 🎄. We were cold.

During a 1200km bike packing trip I stayed at the Soleil d'Or. The host was very welcoming. The bike was safely parked in the cellar. The diner was plentiful. The rooms was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast fuelled me for the road ahead (150km). A place I absolutely recommend as a base to cycle or go trail running in a stunning region.

A wonderful discovery for me. A superb meal. A delicious mushroom soufflé starter, a revisited Bouchée à la Reine... a magnificent chestnut dessert. We stopped by chance. A wonderful surprise.

A warm welcome and a magnificent location. Worth a visit if you're in the area: The Wormsa Valley and its magnificent waterfalls and footbridges. Fichboedlé Lake. A 1-hour 40-minute walk away. A gentle incline of about 300 meters and magnificent scree slopes can be enjoyed along the GR 5.

One of my favorite places. The Vosges Mountains, the winding (motorcycle) roads. The whole experience! The hotel is small and charming. Beautifully furnished (somewhat small) rooms, very clean and well-maintained. A friendly owner and his wife make you feel like you're in good hands. The food, the breakfast... nothing is lacking. I'll be back soon!

We spent two very pleasant nights with friends. Renovated rooms, very clean and well-equipped; just expect the bells since it's located in the center of the village. Delicious, local, and hearty cuisine. The owners are full of humor. Highly recommended 😀

Auberge & Chalets de la Wormsa

16/03/2026: Small chalet, small shower, small water heater, small beds, small staircase... I'm giving it 3 stars for the location, the pool, and the pet-friendly policy.
18/02/2026: The pool area is located under a poorly insulated veranda. The humidity is constant, the sun loungers are unusable, and the towels get wet immediately. The small spa area is functional, although the jacuzzi and sauna weren't working—this should be mentioned. The chalet is too small for 5 people, the bedding is uncomfortable, especially the pillows, but the bathroom is functional and quite large. Otherwise, it's a lovely place, and we had a good stay. The staff were friendly.

23/08/2024: Rien à redire. C’est parfait à tout point de vue. Le cadre, la salle, le service, la qualité, la quantité, le prix. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe.
23/06/2024: Très bon accueil. Table dans une alcove pour 6/8 personnes, génial! Repas copieux et produits de qualité. Rapport qualité/prix excellent.
