Auberge & Chalets de la Wormsa sur Metzeral

Review of the restaurant only, following an evening meal with friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The welcome was warm, the staff efficient and friendly. The value for money was excellent. We have absolutely no complaints. We will gladly return as soon as possible!

Small chalet, small shower, small water heater, small beds, small staircase... I'm giving it 3 stars for the location, the pool, and the pet-friendly policy.

The pool area is located under a poorly insulated veranda. The humidity is constant, the sun loungers are unusable, and the towels get wet immediately. The small spa area is functional, although the jacuzzi and sauna weren't working—this should be mentioned. The chalet is too small for 5 people, the bedding is uncomfortable, especially the pillows, but the bathroom is functional and quite large. Otherwise, it's a lovely place, and we had a good stay. The staff were friendly.

Always very good, just one small drawback: the pool liner could use some replacing. But this is our fourth visit and we still love the atmosphere and setting. The chalet is very comfortable for four people.

We stayed there for 12/25 and were very happy with our stay. The chalet was decent, and the campsite was family-friendly with not too many chalets. The pool and jacuzzi were nice, and the restaurant was good with reasonable prices. The only downside was the steep stairs upstairs and the rooms not being suitable for tall people; otherwise, it was very good.

Stay is nice. Restaurant is good. Pool is temp controlled. Sp n jacuzzi is also thr. It's surrounded with hills.

Very well laid out, practical for spending a few days

We had a great time here. The only minor drawbacks were the steps leading up to our chalet and the one our family stayed in. There were two uneven concrete blocks that made us feel unsafe. The path above chalets 7 and 9 was also poorly lit; without a flashlight on our phones, it was completely dark. It's a shame we had to pay for bed making... and €12 for breakfast is also too expensive. The pool is lovely, although a bit chilly under the dome. Everything was very clean.
