Au soleil d'or sur Metzeral

Rooms were clean The man spoke German/French and was very nice (he even taught us a little French) We ate well both breakfast and dinner (even a candle on the dessert for my birthday)

The food was very good, the service very pleasant, we had a great time. It's a shame the beautiful central fireplace wasn't lit in December during the Christmas season 🎄. We were cold.

A superb discovery! A great base for exploring the region. Friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms. We will gladly return.

During a 1200km bike packing trip I stayed at the Soleil d'Or. The host was very welcoming. The bike was safely parked in the cellar. The diner was plentiful. The rooms was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast fuelled me for the road ahead (150km). A place I absolutely recommend as a base to cycle or go trail running in a stunning region.
