Best Japanese in Colmar. This is a restaurant where the owners are real Japanese. Be careful not to come here for the decoration: that is not the main thing. Moreover, the owner is alone in the dining room serving so it is not particularly quick. On the other hand, the dishes are all exceptionally good. The fish is of unrivaled freshness and quality in Colmar. The only downside is the price: but you have to pay for quality, that’s for sure!

Simply perfect... Extraordinary cuisine, full of flavors. The sushi is exquisite! The service is a little long sometimes but bear with me because it's worth it!

The best Japanese restaurant in Colmar or even Alsace.... And much more! Having had the chance to taste some restaurants in Tokyo and Osaka, we can say that "Au soleil levant" is a real Japanese restaurant. Everything is delicious. Thank you for this moment and see you soon!

We ate well in this restaurant near the center of Colmar. the dishes are varied and very tasty. I had a chicken skewer and duck udon noodles. service not very fast but the small kitchen requires that.

Restaurant typique Japonais, nous sommes venus sur les conseils de nos collègues et avons été agréablement surpris par l’ambiance, le lieu et surtout la nourriture succulente ! Un vrai délice nous reviendrons avec plaisir !! Je vous recommande les cream toroke qui sont incroyable

The fish is fresh and delicious, the seasoning of the different ingredients is perfect. The delivery man with mid-length hair is always super friendly, always smiling, and very professional, thanks to him. the best of the best! I recommend 200% 👍
