I'm addicted to the sandwiches at Le Cèdre, which is right next door. However, the Makali sandwich at Au Vieux Cèdre is the best sandwich in Paris. And I assure you, I've eaten it EVERYWHERE in Paris (and beyond). I HIGHLY recommend it.

Le Café Parisien

27/08/2026: If you're looking for a place where you can eat at any time of day, this is the one I recommend. Special mention goes to the eggplant with lemon tahini – it was absolutely delicious. My regards to the chef!
13/08/2026: We sought a peaceful spot for lunch, and Le Cafe Parisien delivered with its cosy corner location. Their onion soup was simply divine, complemented by the Burger Latin and Pasta chorizo. The bread was delicious, and the coffee was perfect, all served with the warm hospitality of the couple who likely owned the restaurant. It was our final meal in Paris before we departed, and they truly made it unforgettable.
