Au Vieux Honfleur sur Honfleur

We loved it! A very charming restaurant, located in the old port. We had some oysters and made the tasting menu. Truly exquisite! We couldn't resist and marched home with Eddie! You can purchase the handmade figures that decorate each of the tables.

We had lunch in this restaurant this afternoon. The servers were very very welcoming and at our service. The dishes were tasty and the plates were beautifully presented. I recommend this restaurant!

Excellent dinner in this beautiful restaurant with an ancient flavour, with outdoor tables overlooking the charming harbor of Honfleur. Varied menu but the must is an exquisite sole (not on the menu) which alone is worth the dinner. The oysters are also excellent. Excellent wine at reasonable prices. Super friendly service. Account without surprises. Super recommended.

Excellent food, great service and perfect location. We are pescatarians and they adjusted the offered menu for us which was much appreciated.

We had a great time having lunch facing the port. The service was impeccable. The place is charming. The food is very good but can be a little heavy....after the starter, main course, dessert...we would have liked to take a nap! I recommend you book.

First I wanted to make a reservation online, but this was no longer possible. Then we were in the city itself and we walked past the tent and spoke to the waiter to ask if there would be a spot for us... this was possible!! Although the location is beautiful, the food was disappointing in relation to the price. So we got several dishes without taste. We had to ask for salt and pepper ourselves. Furthermore, an unexpected appetizer, namely cucumber soup, which reminded me of a detox treatment.. the pasta (tagliatelle) that we ordered as a side dish had a hardening in some places, possibly from the heating lamp, but this also had no taste (salt). The risotto was a bit too hard, just barely edible. Nice in taste. The dessert made up for a lot, but it was at the neighbors'.

Great meal with excellent service, restaurant was full and many turned away - book early. Must be the best restaurant in Honfleur.

We were in Honfleur for my wife’s birthday and saw this restaurant on Tripadvisor, they were fully booked for the evening we wanted so went for lunch , what a great decision. We had the seafood plateau with extra oysters , it was fantastic, one of the best we’ve ever had , the seafood was so fresh and tasted divine . Coupled with a bottle of cold white wine , and 2 fantastic desserts , it was a great lunch for my wife’s birthday . Excellent service and although not cheap well worth what we paid .
