The setting was truly lovely! As for the food, the veal tagine was very flavorful, a real treat, as was the perfectly cooked grilled octopus. The waiter was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Everything is there for a real success! For the cuisine to truly take off, it just needs that little something extra: sticking to authentic dishes. An establishment full of potential that I highly recommend.

[Update] 4 months after reopening: impeccable, discreet, and efficient service. The menu was balanced, fresh, and flavorful; we thoroughly enjoyed it. Seated under the trees, with a holiday atmosphere, it's a pleasure to visit the inn. We happily recommend it. Reopening in a simple, delicious, and joyful style. The menu features traditional French dishes with a touch of sweetness and freshness. The service is impeccable. A must-visit spot, well done Myriam and Soraya! (I forgot to photograph the zucchini, mint, and feta tart appetizer, as well as the shredded veal main course, both devoured in less than two minutes 😉)

How can such a pleasant and charming place serve such uninspired food? We ordered a sausage rougail, a sort of gloubiboulga served in a soup plate, and a chef's burger (but where was the chef?) whose meat and fries (homemade, at least) arrived lukewarm. The presentation was nonexistent; not even a sprig of parsley, a slice of tomato, or a lettuce leaf to brighten up the rather sad plates, devoid of inventiveness or imagination. They don't seem to be having any fun in the kitchen. Luckily, the ambiance somewhat redeemed the disappointment, despite the dance floor music blasting from the sound system. As a result, we didn't order drinks, desserts, or coffee, and went home to finish our meal with a beautiful cheese platter. The prices are very reasonable, but still too expensive for what it is. It's possible to make simple, yet joyful, food!

A wonderful discovery! We received a very warm welcome from a helpful, attentive, and incredibly kind waiter. The terrace, nestled under the trees, is charming and offers a delightful setting. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are homemade, and it shows in every bite. An excellent restaurant that we are happy to recommend.

The setting is pleasant, the waiter very friendly; however, the menu is limited, no meat, only kebabs. During the heatwave, there was no ice cream on the menu. I wanted more fries, but I had to pay extra.

A lovely shaded terrace in the heart of old Marly. However, this establishment is living off the reputation of its predecessors: a very limited menu, and yet on a Saturday at 12:30, they were already missing a starter, a main course, and a dessert (out of the four listed). Why not simply remove them from the menu? The dish I chose (salmon bruschetta) left much to be desired: soggy bread, canned salmon smothered in grated Gruyère. The "gourmet coffee" consisted of a clearly mass-produced strawberry tart and a tiramisu that was tiramisu in name only. The chocolate mousse was a much better choice. The lemonade was also decent. All this for €30. I won't be going back.
