Au Wacken sur Strasbourg

New chef since September. I've been several times since and have never been disappointed. If you order the basics, which are a sign of good food, like tarte flambée or fries, they are excellent. Good quality and generous portions, traditional cuisine. My latest suggestion: all-you-can-eat carpaccio. We'll be back.

This restaurant is located near the event venues. The food is good. Unfortunately, the daily specials were unavailable on two occasions, as were some of the other suggestions. The meal was decent, but light for my taste. It's still a good place to eat alone or with colleagues. It could also be a great choice for an evening meal with friends.

Good value for money, pleasant waitress

This was my first time eating at Au Wacken and I was very pleased with the risotto. The service was very professional, with the chef even coming by at the end of the meal. Perhaps you could try turning down the bass in your background music. Keep up the great work!

What a wonderful discovery "Wacken" was! The welcome was very friendly and warm. The dishes were delicious and generous. Huge portions 😋😋. A real treat. For me, veal kidneys, roast potatoes, and salad. My husband had mushroom risotto. Beautifully large plates. For dessert: crème brûlée for him and for me, a HUGE gourmet coffee 😍😍😍😍. And what I really appreciated was the chef going from table to table to get feedback from the customers. 👍 I highly recommend going there; you won't regret it! We went on Friday evening. Open Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner. Saturday evenings. Closed all day Sunday and Saturday lunch. Come and support them; it's a new team that deserves it.

A very good experience at this restaurant. Very well located, right behind the tram stop. Upon our arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the waitress and the kitchen staff. We arrived right when it opened at 11:30 am and had easily made our reservation online. For our main courses, we chose fleischnakas with a cream and mushroom sauce, accompanied by sautéed potatoes for one of us, and an Alsatian salad with fries for the other. We weren't disappointed. The food was very good and the portions were generous. For dessert, we opted for a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) and a gourmet coffee. Again, we were very satisfied with both the quantity and quality. And if you happen to have trouble finishing your meal, you can take home a doggy bag... We highly recommend this restaurant in Wacken. The food is traditional but very good, served with a smile, and above all, the portions are generous for the price... We won't hesitate to come back....,👍😊
