The setting is magical. The establishment is beautiful and well-maintained. We appreciated the cloth tablecloths and napkins. The decor is pleasant. The food is well-presented and of high quality. However, the prices are unjustified and seem designed more to select a clientele.

Very long wait today.... Quick start, then a 45-minute wait before the main course. And the old man at the counter was clearly in a bad mood... Just pull yourself together, sir. Have a sip of something that will cheer you up...

Discovered through the Gourmet Passport program, we weren't disappointed by our culinary escape at the foot of the Vosges Mountains. A beautiful farm inn in a peaceful setting. And the culinary journey was a delight for the taste buds. We'll definitely be back.

I couldn't get a table for one person on July 14th, 2026, even though one table was already empty and there were other tables free at the bar. I'll come back because of the good reviews and because I want to try the food.

20/08/2026: A skillfully crafted menu centered around truffles (it was the theme of the menu and a delightful discovery). But alas, the service is lacking, quite unfriendly (except for the younger staff, who clearly take things to heart): one almost misses the days when the place was still called La Ville de Lyon. It was for my partner's birthday (I had taken the trouble to call ahead): no attention whatsoever, apologies swallowed for the oversight, no gesture to try and make amends for the inconvenience caused by this oversight (we would have appreciated a little something... but there was absolutely nothing). Ask to avoid the table directly below the air conditioning, which is blasting during the heatwave (this choice is baffling, given that other tables are available in the dining room). In short: extremely disappointing service, which is not up to the standard of either the food or the setting. We'll come back for the food...

04/09/2026: Pleasant setting, friendly staff, and excellent food, clearly made with a desire to please. The fact that dogs are welcome is a real plus, and they get plenty of cuddles (she even licks her lips in front of the plates!). I highly recommend it!
