Very good restaurant with real homemade dishes

Weekend in Bagnères-de-Bigorre and near the Pic du Midi. Excellent restaurant, local and homemade cuisine, generous portions. Pleasant rustic setting. Route de la Vallée de l'Esponne. Thank you. Very warm welcome!

The meal I enjoyed at Chez Gabrielle was like a hike exploring the landscapes of the Hautes-Pyrénées. First, the panoramic view, as a starter, with a charcuterie and cheese board for three. Local, high-quality products, accompanied by black cherry jam. Next, I decided to follow the trout route (also featuring local trout), served with perfectly seasoned new potatoes and a salad. Finally, my culinary journey ended with a perfectly crisp and crunchy crème brûlée, delicately smooth. The atmosphere is an integral part of this inn's identity, as the close interaction with fellow diners enhances the culinary exploration of the Pyrenees. I highly recommend it.

An excellent meal after a hike in the area. Hearty, home-style dishes, and very friendly service, especially with the children. If we had discovered this restaurant sooner, we would have gone back a second time during our stay.
