Auberge Communale de la Fruitière sur Peron

I booked the room through Booking.com. Small but clean room, poor ventilation in high temperatures. No drinks available when the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is self-service and basic: coffee, tea, juice, water, toast, and various pre-packaged jams. So, not a buffet in the traditional sense. Okay for the price, if you don't have high expectations based on the reviews, hence only 3 stars from me.

A warm welcome, comfortable room, and excellent dinner. As for the much-maligned breakfast, the concept is perfect: available at any time without disturbing anyone. Bread, butter, honey, jam, coffee, and milk are all provided. It's obviously not the breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon only available from 8 a.m. on weekends, but it has the merit of being comprehensive.

Excellent stay at this hostel. Functional room and bathroom. Well located. Self-service breakfast. Very well organized and communicated with the host.

Very friendly welcome. Staff were more than pleasant. One small drawback: no one was available in the morning to resolve a problem with the coffee machine; so breakfast consisted of fruit juice and water!

A truly perfect stay! The rooms are immaculate, very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location is also very convenient and easily accessible, with free parking, which is a real plus. The included breakfast is also a great bonus. But what really makes the difference is the welcome. The receptionist is remarkably kind: very polite, smiling, attentive… this kind of welcome immediately puts you at ease and is truly delightful. These days, you sometimes come across people who are a bit cold or rushed, so meeting someone so friendly makes all the difference and makes the stay even more enjoyable. There's a real sense of conviviality in this hostel: people are smiling, the atmosphere is warm, and you feel right at home. Honestly, I recommend it without hesitation. For me, it's a 10/10!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service is impeccable: a welcoming, smiling, and attentive team. Special mention for the attention given to dogs, with a very important purple bowl provided 😅🤣🥰🐾 An address we recommend without hesitation, and where we will gladly return. My in-laws Seb & Stel and the kids 🐾🐾🥰
