50 years later, so many beautiful memories

I would like to extend my warmest thanks to the Auberge de Chalezeule and the family who run this establishment. We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday last Sunday, and I couldn't be more thrilled. It was exactly what I hoped for: a meal that was a joyful and delicious experience. All our family and friends appreciated the exceptional quality of the dishes. Bravo to the Chef, the father! Thank you to the mother and daughter who welcomed us with smiles, kindness, and helpfulness. In their hospitality, we recognized the true passion of a true restaurateur. My friends and I have been regulars at the Auberge de Chalezeule for many years. The menu is always varied, homemade with fresh, locally produced products, and the service is friendly... everything you need to come back.

Truly sublime. A place like no other. Fresh produce and homemade cuisine. Sophisticated but unfussy, good traditional French cuisine. The food is good and very reasonably priced.

I'd been praised, but what a disappointment. ... A very, very, very long service. We started with a ballotine of poultry....not outstanding. ...it should have stopped there. .... Then the haddock fillet arrived, much overcooked and looking like string, accompanied by cold purées, and for one, dry because it was dry. .... Then, the icing on the cake, we moved on to the iced nougat without any fruit, neither candied nor dried, but replaced by a drizzle of caramel..... Finally, I think this restaurant is good for outings outside the hospital, or as a replacement for the canteen..... It's not expensive, but I feel like I wasted 25 euros. How do you expect people to respect each other... (far too much noise...) when what they find on their plate doesn't respect them?????
