Our wedding in the heart of this green setting was a success, both for the warm welcome from all the staff and for the finesse of the cuisine! We savored every bite in a charming and bucolic place! Thank you to the chef for the quality and research of the dishes! The charm works as much in the plate as in the place! Let yourself be carried away by the magic of this unique place!
When we left Paris to settle in Vendôme, it was largely inspired by an old nursery rhyme “Les carrions de Vendôme”. After experiencing the Auberge de Clairefontaine, I am even happier to find myself in this area where there is tradition (the great chef of European heads of state returns to the land of his parents), the strong family bond (the 70-year-old mother provides service with energy, warmth and elegance) and ethics! We will come back with our French, Canadian, English friends etc. A big thank you to the chef for personally helping us out when our car was immediately bogged down by the wrong Google maps receipt - an initial mishap compensated for by an excellent Valentine's Day dinner.
Traditional service in a very outstanding manner. We had an excellent meal prepared with great care and delivered with friendly service. In addition the chef took time out from his duties to rescue us from a farmer’s field where our car stuck by the guidance of the Google maps ! In brief an exceptional place to have a St Valentine meal with a very reasonable price. Thank you so much !
