I came to the inn with some friends. It's a place we really enjoy with friends, and we wanted to share it with others. We don't necessarily get the chance to come often. The group's verdict was mixed; some liked it, and others didn't at all, but I'll give my opinion, focusing on the real downsides of the evening: We had different set menus (Casse Croute, Terroir, Fondue à la Fourme). Unfortunately, I felt that being in a smaller group would have been better than being a group of more than five. My first problem was the portion size. For €27 for a Fondue à la Fourme menu, getting four pieces of charcuterie and two jacket potatoes was really disappointing. Perhaps if I hadn't been in a group, I would have had more portions (we divided what we had fairly, in a relaxed, informal way, which is ultimately the essence of the place). My second issue concerns the service. An inn is supposed to be, at least in my opinion, a welcoming place with a clean atmosphere. That's what I've found here in the past. However, this time I mostly got the impression that I was dealing with people who were completely overwhelmed (I'm not judging, it can be the case, but considering what we ate, it's not great). Regarding the Terroir menus, nothing was indicated when they received the Salad and Fourme Cheese Toasts with the charcuterie. When it arrived for the Fourme Cheese Fondue menus, they didn't know whether to take it or not, and in that case, indicating it would have been necessary. For dessert, some ice creams were forgotten, but the waiter noticed before we even mentioned it and corrected the situation, so I don't hold it against him. However, serving everyone else while leaving one person without anything wasn't very "friendly" in my opinion. I'd also like to mention the crème brûlée. Mine was very good, but my girlfriend's was a complete disaster (it was liquid inside). I spoke with her about it. Then there's the last thing I didn't appreciate. When it came time to pay, we each wanted to pay our own share, but the waiter said, "Shall we split it by X?" He asked two or three times, and we finally did it because apparently he didn't want us to pay for what we each consumed. It was very nice of those who had ordered the €18 Snack Menu to have to match the €27 Fondue à la Fourme menu. Now for the positives. The setting hasn't changed and remains magnificent; the place is very beautiful. The food itself was quite good (at least for me). I didn't order any, but I was told the fromage blanc was delicious! In short: I found the portions quite small for the price (4 pieces of charcuterie + 2 potatoes) for a €27 set menu. The setting is lovely. Server errors and clarifications when bringing the menus would be helpful to explain everything. I left this place, which I usually love, rather disappointed, and I don't know if I'll give it another try.

Typical of a mountain country restaurant. Good value for money. I recommend it. Booking in advance is safer.

It was very busy on August 15th, but the young waitresses were fantastic!! Graceful and efficient, as usual, the meal was flawless, we'll be back 👌!

We discovered this inn after a 9km hike to the Chorsin waterfall. There were two of us. The inn was full, but they managed to find us a spot outside. We ate very well for a very reasonable price. The waiter was very friendly. The view of the Monts du Lyonnais was superb. We highly recommend it! 👌

Starter/Main Course/Cheese/Dessert for €23, unbeatable value for money. Only local produce, excellent Patia with free seconds. In short, a place to remember.
